Not currently open for PYO commissions.A little bit of progress has been made.
Getting a smooth black surface has been difficult so I’ve been sanding down problem areas. Since it’s been taking longer than expected I’ve decided to make the black part more of a coat or jacket and leave the belly as-is (the belly also has the foil on it, it’s just too reflective to properly photograph).
The center of the sakura flowers will get some 3D paint and the dragon will hold either a pearl of 3D paint or a gemstone in its hand, depending on which works the best.I bet the foil looks so pretty as it peeks out of the paint and catches the light!!

The jacket looks so nice against the foil. Still needs (at least) one more sanding and touch-up painting before I can work on the rest of the body.
Well I loved Mika’s project sooooo much that I begged her to let me purchase her and she graciously agreed to let me have her!! Well, here’s the finished product named Bella Blue!!
Wow, your camera captured the colors on her body so well! Mine could never pick up the detail, haha. I’m really glad you like her, too!
Also, her head and bib are coated with a soft touch varnish, so they’ll feel like they had been sanded down to a soft smooth finish.
I was wondering about that!! It does feel so smooth! I really like it! She’s going to be my center piece on my shelf LOL!!
Working on a commission! Have the head left to foil. It’s by far more vivid in real life, but the pastel/faded look isn’t that bad.
