I put him in the foo pup photo page but posting him here too so he’s in my ‘gallery’ here, lol.
It’s my Cheshire Foo Pup!
His swirls are blue-green shift paint.
He has some small details on him that have pink-blue shift paint (That applied like an interference paint) and his eyes will most likely be changed (Just sitting there for right now)I can’t help but giggle.. I started the foo pup I am keeping first and then got stuck on him and decided to paint this one… took me a lil while to realize how much of opposites I painted… The foo pup I’m keeping is a Hellfire 🙂 So he’s all black, and red and fiery… ‘n then I have pink and purple and swirls on this one XD
Also just wanted to mention that I, in no way, am trying to claim the “Cheshire Foo Pup” design all together, I just ask for some respect to the artist and not duplicate my design. Thanks! 🙂
Is it?! Could it be??? … am I done?? … Honestly I dunno, I need to take a minor break from him n look him over later to be sure I didn’t flat forget something, haha.. but at the moment he seems to be done!!

When he goes up (Be it offers here or ebay) he will start at $300 and if someone wants him bad enough I will take a BIN of $500 on him.
This guy has so many tiny details! ‘n very clean lines!! I did a LOT of work with a 20/0 round brush.. I have a photo of it next to a dime if anyone is curious just how small that is ;p lol.
His metallic black markings are literally the color of hematite stones.. it looks great on him! I did drill a hole in his forehead for a Chatons Gem (ie. His forehead gem is done exactly how Windstone does their gems)
His eyes are very nice quality eyes from Tohickon. Uhhh.. I dunno what else right now, haha. Just wanted everyone to see him!!Every time I think I’ve seen it all you show me something new, girl. I can’t even believe how talented you are. His claws and scales look like they’d be dusty if you touched them, they’re so cracked and dry looking. You’re incredible. :jawdrop:
And he looks awesome! You’re totally right to want to show him off 🙂

The work in progress photos of my most recent piece… I don’t quite have a name for her, been calling her ‘Eerie night’ but ti doesn’t seem to fit. Any suggestions? 🙂
She’s what I painted to sort of let out some emotions.. I had no idea where I was going to take her or what I was doing, I just started painting and went with it…

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/XRavensIceX/Non-Display-EerieNight.jpgShe is flat black based, wih a light metallic dry brush over her fur, with some gunmetal silver details… ‘n a fun errie night sky painted on her wings, display has a very detailed full moon (used photos of the moon for ref, so it’s pretty darn close to the real deal) and clouds glowing from the moons shine… and on the non-display side she has the night sky clouds, with a clearing showing the starry sky… – The clouds and stars are metallic painted, and the moon has gold interference paint over it (making it a pain to photo, lol)
She’s actually a pain to photo in general, absolutely non of the metallic photos the way it looks XD She’s much prettier in person! ‘n I have grey eyes sitting in her in the photo, but also have metallic light blue or gold that I could also put in her..
I’m not 100% sure what I’m going to do to her from this point, maybe a lil brighter of a silver to some fine tuning details on her fur? and something on the back of her wings? (some sort of wing detail in gunmetal silver)
If someone is really interested as she is, let me know and send me a (reasonable) offer! I won’t be able to work on her tonight, so you will have at least 24hrs from when I posted this to grab her before I change her. If you’re interested in her with the fine tuning, also feel free to send me a message with a reasonable offer.. Finished she will be matte clear coated, with a possible satin detailing..Whoa, I really like her so far, very creative! 😀 She’s a wonderful Halloween piece if that’s what she is! 😀 Ummmm for artistic input I’d say I would probably change her eyes to gold to have another bit of gold on her to tie in with the moon on her wing, to make her colours look more unified. 🙂 A little bit more dry brushed silver on her fur like what’s on her ruff and around her face would help with the composition I believe too and it would be nice if she had something on the back of her wings, even just some pale highlights on the feathers to bring out that lovely texture. Uhhh. Yeah! I hope you don’t mind me leaving input! She’s really nice and I really hope you get an awesome price for her! 😀 I don’t really have any name suggestions. She reminds me of a peaceful, cold night which I think is exactly what you were going for. Very restful. 🙂 (And awesome!)

Hahaha! On the first pic, the wolf looks surprised. “you painted what on my non-display side?”
He looks lovely as is. To me, the moon looks unfinished, but it could just be the interference not showing up properly.

India Ink, it’s used for calligraphy, mainly.. I use it for paintings (on paper) so I had it on hand to try out ont his guy 🙂
