Not a huge deal but today I went to a store in Socorro that sells Windstones… they didn’t have much so I didn’t get anything, but the guy that worked there gave me one of those mini catalogue things from fall 2003. :3 “New Rainbow color!” lol 😆

I got the old brown male I bought off ebay! =D And he arrived in one piece, phew. At least, he’s not in any more pieces than he was when I bought him…
But I like him a lot! He hasn’t got a felt pad on the bottom, and his eyes look kind of frownie, but I’m not sure…anyhoo, I’m cleaning all the dust off him at the moment. I like how he’s not a smooth brown like my lap, but more speckled, where the dark, almost black paint spotted him. I don’t think the previous owner dusted him once, not even when they broke him and then glued that piece of his crown back on. =( Kyrin, I know you hate that, but I didn’t do it! The rest of his chips look relatively minor. He also had a little bit of wax on him! Crazy people. He either had a candle sitting in the curve of his tail, or was so close to one it dripped on him. Thankfully it was clear, and didn’t stain him. 9.9
Anyhoo, I’ll send him off to Kyrin after her vacation. =) He should be all clean and ready for chip repair by then! Whee~
I didn’t just buy it, but, I just got the dark peacock oriental that I won off ebay last month. Scary, small box…. moved in the box when I picked him up. Surprise only small scuffs! No breaks! I’m happy. I just need to fix the small scuffs. Has anyone been able to match that dark peacock colour?
I purchased two dragons together from ebay and thay just came in today. They are a brown male and an old green mother dragon. The pictures were not very good, but the seller’s feedback was exellent and the price for them was really good, 49.99 a peice! Well it turns out they were the very old guys. No felt bottoms, and the male was really dark with very little blue on him. His eyes are a little weird to. I was a little worried he was a fake, but the details are to crisp, plus the stamp on the bottom looks legit. They were both in almost perfect condition. I’m happy with the momma, but I’m little bummed that the male is so dark and has so little blue 🙁 . He doesn’t really match his brown wife very well, she’s a newer version I persume. At the same time I think they are a great find, considering how old they are 😉 .

So you got that one that in the store yesterday then? 😀 Yeah… really how am I going to pay for him? x__x No buying ANYTHING for the rest of this month (only hope for me is this month is my birthday… so I’ll have extra money coming in… thankfully!)
Yes I did! Oh I can’t wait for her to arrive, I will be stalking the mailman 😉 I just love the little cat you won-I’m a huge cat person so I love them all! Hopefully you can get some birthday money to cover the kits cost, mine came from savings and became my *very* early Christmas gift to myself. 😆
Here is my pink Lap I just got the other day. At first… I wasn’t totally sure I liked her. But I’ve had some time to look at her more, and I really do love her now!:D She’s just so different from what else has already been done. Melody’s store description of her is very true though. This pink dragon really does grow on you! 😆 I’m currently trying to think of a good name for her.
