Technically Kickstarter isn’t a grab bag…I mean, yes, it seems like one of the tier rewards will be a random adult poad BUT we’ve no idea when the Kickstarter will launch. It could be two months from now, it could be a year from now. It’s definitely not something that a person sets up without some planning. Also, Melody might have been strategically working on these poads for awhile whenever she had some spare time; they’re obviously still works in progress and probably just a portion of what she has planned for the KS. If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll even see the hoarders make a resurgence for this.
If I had to guess, the next gb from the store will probably be the hatching pegasi that Melody was hoping to do around Easter. But that’s also assuming she’ll have time to do them and/or chooses to commit to them. If I recall, when she did the baby pegasus grab bag she said that the wings were a pain in the butt so she might change her mind about hatching pegs. Who knows!
I am actually working on three grab bags at once! The next “normal” one will probably be grab bag grey foxes in safari,(if I have time) to keep em cheap. Then for Easter I’ll do the Hatching Pegasus.
I emailed kickstarter to be sure it is ok to do a grab bag edition as a reward. They have a “no raffles or gambling ” policy, but they said if the pieces are all equal in value that would be ok.February 15, 2017 at 11:59 am #1520510Love the Kick Starter idea! If you need any advice Melody, I’m sure Mike (my husband) can likely help. He’s had friends in the comic/entertainment industry go through it and he likely has some info on best practices/general pitfalls, etc. if you need any advice when/if you decide to give it a go.
On a side note, I adore the pink-headed ones! <3
I need so much advice! Help!
February 15, 2017 at 7:43 pm #1520531Oh my gosh 3 grab bags at once! So much work.. but how lucky and grateful all of us will be when they appear in the stores and after in our homes! I am excited to hear about the safari pebble grey foxes. I have been wanting to collect the pebble sculpts.

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.March 2, 2017 at 11:31 am #1521064These might be part of a kickstarter campaign I am planning, to publish my graphic novel “The Veligent” (this Poad™ sculpture got created because they are characters in that story!)
However, these plump ladies may be too extravagant for a Kickstarter reward.
I am also doing a batch of similar baby poads™ ( not tads). They’d be cheaper, and easier to ship.
I need to think.March 2, 2017 at 11:31 am #1521065Imagine….pegasus and unicorn babies in those colors.WOW! and she said she is not a good painter…..
I’m not. I think my eyes just aren’t what they used to be!
March 2, 2017 at 11:40 am #1521067I’ve been using Instagram because Facebook has been giving me trouble!
I think I got my personal Facebook page sorted out now ( got logged out, forgot my password, and couldn’t get in from my cellphone to easily post pics) I am pathetic.-But nobody can remember our Windstone Facebook password, nor can we remember the email or name somebody used when the page was made, so we can re-set it.
Nor can we even remember WHO set it up in the first place, to ask about this.
We are all pathetic. But happy. -
