Swap for WSC. His original name was Silver Wine but I failed to write that on his pad, so he’s Burgundy Wine now. I LOVE his burgundy color. I wanted to try to antique, but…. no I think he’s just perfect as is. I think he’d look funny antiqued.
He’s a bit darker in person. That red-burgundy whatever color is really hard to photograph. 😀
May 16, 2009 at 5:53 pm #698698Oh man, WSC’s army of gryphons are going to take over the world! 😮 But otherwise, very nice. 🙂

August 9, 2009 at 2:03 am #698702My newest dragon – Northern Lights… don’t worry he’s not my swap piece!
He was inspired by those walks that I would take as a kid with my mom when the Northern lights were out in winter.. it may have been 30 below but they were so beautiful, I could watch them for what seemed like hours at a time.
He was painted with golden acrylics and pearl-ex powders (LOVE those). He has a black base that fades to blue at the tail, silver horns and claws, and pearl ex silver, green yellow, gold and red blue to make the northern lights on the scales and wings. It just doesn’t show up how pretty his colors are, but he almost changes based on how the lights hit him, it’s gorgeous! One of my best dragons to date.
I *might* consider selling him if someone wanted him, but I warn you that he has some problems, he has a spot where it looks like I splashed something on him, it’s kinda murky white, and his eye is chipped. He also has a bit of that bug eyed look on one side, the eye wouldn’t go in right.
Also the comet on his tummy is kinda an error but it’s an error I like that fits the theme! lol 😀
Also if someone wants him, I won’t go lower then $40 plus shipping. I’d probably not go for under $60, so keep it in mind. I won’t be posting him in the flea market.

We’re both from Northern AB… I think it’s required! 😆 One of the best things from being up north is the northern lights I do say.
August 9, 2009 at 4:07 am #698706You should drive up the red earth road some cold winter night OMG I swear that was the best I have ever seen them…of course 3 hours of gravel road with NOTHING on it, but sooo pretty..and un-nervingly dark. 😆
August 10, 2009 at 5:57 am #698707Oh wow, he’s fancy. Great work!

I can try… anything in particular you want close up, or just in general closer pictures? I’ll try for some closer sunlight pics when it dries up around here too…
August 12, 2009 at 1:00 am #698711It’s no big deal. I just wanted to see how the stars looked close up…how it looks with the texture.
