ooooh- you too?? 🙂 I have to admit I’m pretty opinionated and, I WILL BE HONEST, seemingly confrontational across the board (no pun intended) but I am learning that a lot of people just don’t understand what I consider sarcasm, word play, and banter as games- they take it very seriously and get hurt. Now I ask you (in general) what hurts more- a sword or words? I think they are both capable of great evil.

You can add one on to the bad…LOTS of folks will NOT bid if the user ID is kept private. To me, it smacks of someone upping the money on their own stuff, or having their friends do it. I dont suspect that of Windstone, but I wont touch any one elses auction with “Private IDs” with a 10ft pole.

Depends on how many PYOs I have to go through to learn technique well enough to apply paint to sculpt and have it look beautiful. Plus- gotta buy the stinkin’ paint first!

hahahahaha- again, I trust not in my painting abilities- that’s why I mostly let the professionals do what they do best- make things pretty for me.
Though I must admit, I’ve paid $305 for a model horse that is ready to paint and only $242 for the paint job. A $400 paint job does seem a little pricey (right now I am merely trying to justify logically my disappointment that I most likely will experience when I DON’T win so bear with me)
Expect the worst, hope for the best.

I like to get opinions of other people and then come up with my own conclusion. Yes, if someone types something sarcastic then someone might get offended because it was taken incorrectly. I think both would hurt, but they say that mental abuse is worse for someone then physical abuse.I ask about EVERYONE their opinion and WHY before I draw my own conclusions (drives my husband up a wall when it’s his advice I take after asking 5 people). As to the abuse there is a huge difference between physical and mental- Pysical- you remove the treatening person and the victim can begin healing. Emotional or mental- damage is done and usually permanent- awful stuff.
Its hard to know how to take some things because showing inflection in typed words is hard. I have takes a couple things wrong on here before. Once with DM and once with Spark. Who knows what things I have said that may have been taken the wrong way 😯
Ya Ski- but you have this sort of immunity- see, we KNOW you aren’t spiteful and nasty so we know not to take your typing as such- other characters are less certain.

I know, I drive my bf nuts also by asking why. And all abuse is bad, but I can see why the Emotional abuse would be worse.

Ehh, on that we just have to be able to hope the person reading can put the best construction on everything and do the same thing ourselves. On a small forum like this, I think it-s not hard to get along. We haven-t had many real spats yet, I think. And with all due respect to the collector-s honor and to-buy list, the world doesn-t end because I wasn-t able to deplete my bank account or CC again.
