I almost hyperventilated when I saw that lap dragon :jawdrop: ! OMG! Please, make this a production color (insert cute pic of big eyed kitty cat). It’s so far my absolute favorite color – even more than autumn leaf. That’s saying a lot.
Will there be anymore ebay barnswallow dragons? I believe there is still a scratcher to come but will any other sculpt be painted or any duplicate sculpts be painted? I wish I could have bid on the mother dragon. She went for not too bad a price 🙁

Here’s my argument for making Barn Swallow a production color. I’ve loved to collect statues of dragons since I was little, but asides from my Peacock Young dragon I never got into collecting windstones. Then a little while ago I was browsing ebay and came across the Barn Swallow Rising Spectral. I was so enamored with it that I immediately went and looked up this ‘Windstone Editions’ thing. I was blown away by the variety and quality of the work I saw, and after thinking about it for a bit, I decided that I’d like to start collecting. Earlier this week I received my Black Gold lap dragon and love it so much. I can’t wait to get another one.
So if it weren’t for the Barn Swallow color, I might not have looked up Windstone Editions. I really like all the other Barn Swallow test paints that have been made, and would be thrilled to see it become a production/LP color.

No love for Barn Swallow griffies?
The griffin looks good in this color, which is entirely fitting since its a bird color 😛 I like this much better than the Blue Ice Griffies.
The griffins look good… but the dragon look GREAT. I’d rather see more dragons than griffins

and an old warrior in barn swallow? I’ll need a bucket for the drool. I dont even want to look, when/if he hits ebay. I wont be able to bid, unless I part with something else very valuable and I know he will be so amazingly beyond gorgeous, it’ll just be sad for poor wolfie 😛 (*rolls eyes at self*)
But seriously, Melody, you and PS and John need to talk about this Barn Swallow color-it N.E.E.D.S….NEEDS to be production or limited production. And we still need a scratcher, lap, old warrior and sitting spectral….I think. OH and a male. And hatcher. and…O.O what about a kirin in Barn Swallow?
The griffins are pretty, but the dragons are breath taking!

I agree. I think the brown on the male griffin was overpowering and made him too blah or something. The female is laying down and it lessened the vertical brown and spread the blue out over her back.
I’m primarily a griffin person, and even I agree that the dragons wear this color better.
