Mine came in.
I will admit, I’m not into unicorns (except the PYO), so I got one in the hopes of trading for a poad, and now, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, I dunno anymore. For the first time, I just might keep a unicorn!
The contrast with the black really shows the different coppers, the eyes are a sparkling straw and there’s some invisible paint too. I haven’t yanked out the tag yet, but I’m seriously thinking about not trading…
Hannah, feel free to use the pics, though if I do keep her, I’ll try for better pics.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Oh, that’s really nice. I love the copper and black contrast.
I have my fingers crossed that mine will arrive today. I had a Windstone package arrive yesterday and got all excited, but it turned out to be a hatcher and curlie! So my baby uni is still a mystery. 🙂

Thanks!
And now that I look at her again, the eyes aren’t straw at all, but more like peach/copper – they’re an exact match to the light part of the leaf.

You can still be excited about the hatcher & curlie!

I was told that the ones going on ebay were deemed less fancy than the rest of the batch and that they aren’t the same group. The ones that got restocked were just stragglers.
February 27, 2013 at 8:59 pm #894040A very dear and sweet friend of mine thought my spirits could use a boost…and boy howdy did she send me a dandy!!! Even if I totally wasn’t in love with this little guy he wouldn’t be for trade, since he was a gift. But I think he is absolutely awesome!!! HUGS (and yes you may use my pictures Hannah)
:love:February 27, 2013 at 10:22 pm #894046Opal – what a beautiful unicorn to match the sweetness of your friend! Lucky girl!

I was excited (the new hatcher is a hoot), but I knew exactly what I was unwrapping. I’m itching to find out if I’ve got a lichen, a tiger, or even a zombie-corn!
Update: It’s a fire lichen! Pictures coming soon.
February 27, 2013 at 11:28 pm #894048Photos finally! Sorry it’s taken me so long. I’ve got a killer cold today that kept me home from work, so, what better use of my time than to upload Windstone photos, right?
LupusLunae helped me get this li’l guy, and I couldn’t be more pleased! He’s got (lime?) green eyes and a green jewel, and was one of my top picks! I’m pretty sure I’m going to hang on to this lil guy, but I’ll -consider- trades. You never know, after all.
and crosseyes XD this view is always my favorite
And Hannah, go ahead and use these for the directory.
February 27, 2013 at 11:51 pm #894049YAY! More pictures! So many pretties, it’s tough not to want to expand my herd! Last year, I bought an extremely small curio cabinet to house some Windstones, and it’s threads like this that make me regret not having a bigger one. Then again, I put a portion of the crew together today for pictures, looked at the $$$ amount of the group, and darn near had heart failure. Maybe the smaller curio WAS a smart move. LOL
Mother of Dragons, that pairing is absolutely perfect! I vote you keep them together. 🙂

I couldn’t believe how perfect they were! This is our second nearly matching set- our grab bag baby poads were both autumny-colored and we didn’t want to break them up either! Needless to say they are still with us, and this is their “forever home” as it were. There are some dragons I really do want but I doubt I’d find them anyways, so these Unis might just be here to stay.

Ain’t that the truth. I try not to think about it too much…
