I’ve trimmed masking tape to the size of the socket and used that to protect the eyes.
I was about to suggest this, too!
Thanks! 😀 This really helps.
Thanks everyone for the feedback! I’ve decided to leave the eyes as is 😀
Looking forward to the male foo!
Thanks for the info!
Turns out I used the wrong eyes, so she’s wrecked now. Darn. Thanks, anyhow!
Thanks, and I noticed yesterday that I may have used the wrong eyes on him, that was intended for a different PYO creature. 🙁
Oh, I meant old stock not by the item ID #! I meant that their paint was -old- paint that had gone past it’s ‘expiry date’.
I don’t know when paint brands were imported, but they do sell them online here, I just need to find a reputable dealer 🙂
Yeah, I use a Winston Cake turn table 🙂 That was before I lost more arm movement, and I haven’t tried it again yet.
DeviantArt has more options than Tumblr. Tumblr has a limit on Asks/Messages, there’s no outbox, you cannot favourite/bookmark and organize art, and Tumblr is rife with art theft like DeviantArt is.
But I’ve got to cast my vote for DeviantArt. It’s an art community, first and foremost, even with the theft. Tumblr and LJ is for blogging and naughty pictures.
Great job! The wild dog markings are done very well.
Gorgeous! 😀
I spray it on with Kyrlon Crystal Clear, and it works wonders!
There are price guides and other toy collectors’ books you’d have to research before you take them to somebody to get valued, if you don’t think you can do it yourself without cheating yourself of $$$.
The condition of the packaging is VERY important. Sticker/price tag residue, the condition of the clamshell, the vibrancy of the colours, manufacturing errors/typos on the printed text, etc. It all matters. (I collect vintage toys myself).
Very nice! I love that it’s a traditional unicorn!
