I haven’t posted these yet, though they’ve been in the gallery for a few days now. Sorry! I’ve been so busy with college. S’mores and Ice Chocolate will be on sale at an art fair this friday, but if they don’t sell they’re gonna go to ebay mid-december.

Last but not least, my Koi-rin. I’m actually really sad because the sealing spray I was using screwed up and completely covered his display side in white powder. 😥 After a lot of saving attempts he doesn’t look too bad, but I think his non-display side ended up a lot more striking because it didn’t suffer a blast of death.

I definitely see the resemblance, but I think it’s more of a case of, ‘hey that candle cat in the store looks cool, I kinda wanna make a pendant like that!’ Enough of it looks original, and I don’t think you can copyright on a generic sitting cat pose.
Just another person voting for ‘something else’. Something… blue, please. I’ve had my fill of red,brown and related, I want something Definitely Blue. Ideally, I want a Definitely Blue oriental. *small squeak for a moon oriental*

Mmm, not really. Hundreds of these pass through ebay with Kingdom Hearts images on them. Other games and high end animes get stolen from too.
To anyone buying these- NONE of them are okay. These people NEVER get permission before making and selling these.
Torched was really experimental, I kinda designed as I went. n_n; Near the end I decided to try adding a ‘rising plume of smoke’ between his eyes. I’m torn on how it came out, but the difference isn’t as noticable in real life.
Alright, so after seeing Firefox some people wanted similar wolves to be put on ebay. Finished these two today. They won’t be on ebay immediately because I gotta move back to my college house in a few days, but stuff will be put up shortly after. Just keep an eye on the flea market section, you’ll be fine. n_n

They were originally reported as having them in stock. That’s one of my options at this point, but I’m feeling bad about By The Sword losing a customer when they’re being so great.
Yeah, I’ve heard great things about them, and Mike is a really nice guy. I’d love to help support his site by buying from there, but if Windstone is going to make him (and indirectly, me) wait for months for an order they may or may not fill, I might as well cut my losses and order one of the two remaining here. :
Going to send a message to Windstone now about this. Kinda nervous and fidgety since there’s only two in the site store, and secondhand prices can be through the roof sometimes.
If there’s no plans to make more then that’s fine, I’ll take my money back and go elsewhere. It would be even worse is they said they’d make more in the months-future and I came out empty handed, because then they lied to BTS inc.
Not that I’m accusing anyone of that, just saying. I’m kinda put off by this whole situation.
I recently bought a ruby sun oriental from By The Sword, Inc. I’d seen a couple other people say they were a good site, and they had the sun for a smidge cheaper than most places, so I went for it.
Everything went through, but I’ve been talking to the apologetic website owner. He’s willing to refund my order (or let me try waiting it out), because he called Windstone to order ten or so sun orientals, and got the reply that it’ll take months before he sees a single red scale.
Uh, what? That seems a bit long, when I could have ordered a sun directly from the Windstone store and gotten it in a day or two. I thought buying from ‘the little guys’ and stores was encouraged?
Going to have to agree that I think wee is the seller. Nice pile of spam messages, JUST so she could post the links.
That spectral was really, really tempting. I was nearly going to bid on it. But after everything I’ve seen, I think I’m going to stay far away. I’m a broke college student, I can’t risk $100ish dollars…
