Its not that…I traded her a young white dragon for that and some artwork. I have not gotten either one! She owes me for my half of the trade…

Took about 20 hours to make. Yes its warm…but not to bad in the snow! ha! No really its not bad in winter, and is tollerable for short periods in the summer. You can put a fan in the nose, and wear one of those cooling neck packs like motorcycle riders use. But yeah….warm.She was supposed to send me a PYO wolf in Mid Nov. Right as they hit ebay the first time…and I have still not gotten it. I found her on Deviantart on Jan. 2 and she said she was mailing the next day…but still nothing. I am really upset….I have nothing fun to paint.

Thanks for the critique. I don’t mind at all. It’s how we get better! I would like to get good enough to put a couple on Ebay but am afraid they’ll get it and use it as a target!
no..I really would not change a thing on this one! Just stuff to keep in mind for your next! 😀

It will be just like a Secret Santa. You will not have the same person who has you!!! And no telling until its sent and the person has opened it. In fact I suggest you put your name as the artist in the box when it is mailed. NO pictures are to be posted until the person gets the PYO. That way its a total surprise for them!
Only one person has signed up so far…I will take sign Ups until like Monday night..giving everyone a few days. Than you should get your partner’s info on Tuesday.

Thanks!Oh I am so glad you didn’t take offense! I had to go through so many crits in college that I stopped being offended. And I love to get a good crit. I did a sorta picture explaination for ya.
I just circled a few samples of what I ment by blotchy. And the parts I love the most!I love the colors…but the paint has come out a bit blotchy. It might help to use more medium in the paint and apply more paint..or more layers to even out the coat. Right now it appears that you painted with a very dry brush…which is great for last details, but not as good for the first coat or two. So for your next PYO project try to coat the whole thing in an even coat of paint before drybrushing the details.
I think your ideas are great…just needs more practice! And hey that is good news for Windstone! Love the gold touches on the feathers the best! They are so pretty.

You’re eyes look awesome! I tried doing them with some hard white fabric stuff (I forget the name, buckram I think?) and markers and they look terrible! I did one with eyes like the ones on SParks page and they look much better, but getting the X-mas globes are a pain & they’re alot of work to make!
I use plastic bowls cut to shape! 🙂

3. Favorite Colors or theme *for example nightskies/stormy weather/humingbirds or simple colors like…i love green and magenta for example.That is it! Its up to the artist to pick the type of PYO they paint for you.
Skill doesn’t really matter, I just want everyone to have fun. I will ask my mate to pick partners for everyone. She has no idea what peoples skill levels are, so it won’t be based on that.
Other than that we will just have fun!
