Ummm it would be neat to have a surprise person! If anyone wants to step up I will gladdly hand over the reins, but should no one do that…I will handle it again!

March 20, 2007 at 12:47 am in reply to: Tan Gryphon Restored! Photos to show steps and progress! #553406Okay so I got the Tan Gryphon that I BINed on ebay. I was kinda upset as he arrived in much worse shape than auction listed. He had more marks, and a worn necklace. But most disturbing was the smashed cracked beak!!! I was however able to repair it. Take a look!

I had a request for that…so feelings would not be hurt.

I hope you do!
Wish I could hide bidders names though…like Windstone does. Anyone know how? I spend a good bit of time tring to figure it out…no luck.
I had green on as I marched around Busch Gardens…in the snow! *light flurries but still*
Dragon Master wrote:I hope they do not go for much less then the $1125 I paid??? That would de value the ones that have already sold and would not seem fair to me
Yeah well you have the first one. And its signed and no other will be like it. So actually it would only be fair that future ones be less than what you paid.

why do i have so many? usually when i entered a store with windstones, i rarely had any money to buy one, so i would take a catelog as consolation prize.
if you still do not think i am a pack rat, i have banana republic catalogs from the 80’s and a small catalog for dragon keep from probably around 1990. these are only the ones that made it out of my parents house. many clothing and doll catalogs were recycled before they moved.
i need to get a life. 🙁 i had one for a while…then it thought i was dorky and went elsewhere… 😳
Just send the doubles to me. It will make you feel better!http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZwindstone_whippetQQhtZ-1
Go forth and help me get one of the white SKs…you know you want to!
I would do anything to have the white one….but my limit for finances is hard to pin down. Right now I am saddly broke. Everything I made recently on art went to my cruise for hte second honeymoon. But I would give my right arm. ha!
Daytime photos…god I need a better camera. Anyway gives you less of that black velvet look. And yes he will be for sale.
I went to see the dentist when my bottoms started coming in…since they hurt as they cut through the gums. So the dentist was like…lets take out all four before they start problems. I just went along with him. So then they took xrays and the guy was showing them to me…and I noticed the top two had fillings. So I asked him…umm are those fillings? Cause i have not had a filling done in like 8 years. Yeah he said..that is what those were. So I asked him, ummm so why do they have to be pulled if I have had them this long with no problems? He just told me because they would not have any bottom teeth to chew with. I said ummmm thanks but no. Leave those in. He refused! So I left and never came back. My bottom ones came in fine as well. Its been another 6 years and no problems with either set.
So….ummm get a second opinion. My new destist says they are fine and he would never have removed them at all.Gosh…I still love the Bermise Large Flap Cat…but its a lot smaller than I pictured it in my mind. Great collection though!
