    Hoppy Tadpoads!!

I want to do a batch of “cow tadpoads” too.
Gb Hoppytadpoads would be great. Now that we’ve used up the year’s supply of fantasy tadpoads I painted, I need to do another batch.

Second that tad hoppies would be really neat too! Ooh! Cow poads – adorable!!

My pet rabbit, MoMo, has made fresh brown jelly beans to celebrate!

LOL !! I dont think they would taste like chocolate though, lol !

Welcome! I’ve had an account for less than a year, and I really enjoy the pictures and the attitudes of everyone here. It’s a nice ‘smaller’ group than other hobby forums and Melody is too awesome! I’ve traded with several people and bought some too, and every transaction with forum members has been wonderful. It’s lovely to have a company with employees like Windstone has and how they interact with their customers on here. Next you should try some PYOs! That’ll really get you going! Again, welcome, and I hope you have a great time here. I know I do!

Well said! And I totally agree on all counts!

    Welcome, welcome!

    thanks ! 🙂

Hi werepanther ! Its nice to see you becoming active on the forum. I think you have caught the Windstone bug just like the rest of us ! LOL !

I do hope your still enjoying your Gargolingus and hatching dragon you got from me, I know for certain they went to a good home 😉

Hi! The bug really creeps up on you!!!

I love my two purchases from you, thanks again, and you are a very good seller!!! I will see about leaving good feedback or you yet. Aww, thanks!

    Welcome Welcome werepanther!
Glad you jumped in to the fray with all four paws (what took you so long?)! As you’ve already experienced, WS forum members are the BEST out here in the Wild Wild Web … I’ve ‘met’ many cool people and all have been nice and very forthcoming with answers, tips and suggestions for finding your heart’s desire to how to antique your PYO! It’s been a blast so far. And the Windstone staff, well like everyone has said – they’re all Great! The only problem I’ve had is not enough spare time in my lift right now to paint the 8+ blank PYO sculpts I’ve accumulated – I’ve got color/design ideas for them all, just not the physical time yet… I need to retire, or win the Lottery!

Have Fun and Have a Really Fuzzy Time! 🙂

I may not seem like it but I’m actually a bit anti-social sometimes as us cats are, so I’m blaming that for why I’ve waited!
I’ve had a blast so far too and hope it just keeps up!
I know, it would be nice if we could all just get paid to follow our pursuits and stay out of trouble! LOL.
I’m right there with you on the lotto, I can only hope someday I get to retire too.
    It’s great to meet you!

    Hi Bodine 🙂

Thanks! It’s been a fun and wonderful experience so far and I’m sure it will continue to get better with age, like a fine cheese perhaps haha.

Shame about the boar; they’re one of my favourite animals 🙁 It would have been cool to collect them, as well as have them given a medieval test paint palette/grab bag.

Yeah, I think so too. I like boars. A test paint of boars would be fabulouso!
Alas, all good things must come to an end. I wish I could at least find one used somewhere.

    Hi MandB!

I noticed quickly how close knit everyone seems to be both members and Windstone staff. It is more than awesome that the staff is so interactive with everyone! I think there is definitely something special going here too. I’ve done a few classified purchases so far and one trade. I’ve thought about trying my hand at a PYO someday yet, I bought a PYO off Ebay of a Ki-Rin “Leafy” not too long ago. It has a bit of paint smudge on the back of the horn which I wish I had known about prior to purchase, but it really isn’t that noticeable where it effects the pieces display quality, it’s just I’m picky and spoiled on some things. Heh. I tried painting table top gaming miniatures several years back and did pretty decent with them, I think I could do a pretty nice PYO, but would need to buy all the supplies for it.

Hi werepanther! How nice to meet ya :). I must say that your avatar is is just waaaay too stinkin’ cute! Makes me grin every time I see it! Glad you decided to join us – we have a pretty good time around here and there’s always room for at least one more (we’re pretty good at scootching over and making room) Look forward to getting to know you 🙂

    twindragonsmum 🙂

Hi twin, thanks! I like it too. Your avatar is neat also, did you do those PYOs, they are really excellent looking! It seems like a very friendly and fun community to interact with from what I’ve read and experienced – see you around!

Welcome! You’ve been lovely dealing with in PM and I’m glad to see you on the board, too!

    Hi Natasha,

It’s been nice PMing with you too! *still drooling over plum stego* Ha. I sure hope you can hunt down that boar you want so much and those other pieces! Someone out there has to have a boar they’d be willing to part with, I would for what you are offering if I had one, even though I love the sculpt too.

Welcome! And gosh yes, the collecting is addictive. I can sympathize with you on funds for collecting. You’re right, all work and no treats does make you surely (sure makes me that way). Every time I decide to get a piece it’s a miracle if I don’t guilt myself out of it! Well, it makes the pieces I do get that much more special. I have to say that I’m also looking forward to the cougar sculpt going into production. It’s hard to be patient.

Aw, don’t guilt trip yourself! It’s healthy to treat yourself sometimes, and you’re right it makes you love the pieces you have all the more so when you look at them you are extra good feeling!
I know watcha mean, patience is a virtue, unfortunately it’s not one of mine, espec. when it comes to those cougar sculpts! I’m right there with you! It’s so nice to meet you – thanks for saying hello.

White oriental dragons – Hm. Has anyone here ever seen the 80’s fantasy movie “The Neverending Story”? I’m thinking “Falkor” the luck dragon!!
I think white is an excellent color choice for them, but to be honest, I’m a bit burnt on black or white, unless you are thinking a black sparkle cougar as the exception or vampire bat with ruby eyes.
I’d like to see more “fruity” like plum, dragon fruit, mango, or intense like tattoo, intergalactic, koi, or something flashy, and I like blue eyes – they look fabulous on some sculpts but they get over used sometimes it seems to me, some eye color variety or even a few bi-eyes would rock! Just my rambling though.
I don’t own any orientals yet but want to – the essence of that dragon’s style has been captured so well and artfully in the sculpt, let along all the great paint jobs.
