Well, that’s why the gryphon’s Nam paint should go for scads more than 400 dollars.
Bah, Gold leaf is cheap, it’s just time a consuming pain in the butt.
Dude…this person got a steal deal.
I really like the hind ends, especially in that top view shot. It looks so lithe and like it’s about to crawl off.
The wings and head? Ugh.
Nambroth wrote:This was an expensive year for me, as I purchased for two families! I gave a happy cat gargoyle, a mouse wizard, a baby unicorn, small winged spirit wolf, a cat’s cradle, the moonstone pyo dragon, the red husky pyo wolf, a large framed photo, a large plush koi, a few silly build it yourself wooden animal sculptures, a complete fish tank set up (cycled, fully set up with fish), a jeweled brooch, a warm russian hat, dragon plushes, a dragon lamp, a usb powered lava lamp, a framed painting, a digital weather station, some music CDs, a huge commissioned painting, a set of beer steins, several of those kenetic-powered shake flashlights, crow decorations, and a whole lot of small misc stuff as stocking stuffers. I know I’m forgetting things, too!
Temporary dolphin tatoos!!! : D : D : D
I thought you guys might get a kick out of the new spambot that registered just now. Look at the profile. Heeheehee.

Heeheee! Well, the zuni fetish looks kinda like this:
Only the feet are farther back and HIS BEAK’S GONE. :C
Haha, well, some friends of mine introduced the idea of having the sturdier fetishes as “drinking buddies”. When we get our beer, or wine, we drop them into the glass and say “Cheers!” They love to go swimming!
It does take the finish off of them, Pulgas looks very matte now. He also changes the flavor of the beer a bit.
I will have to look up this Ernie guy!

If the buyer does not do their research ahead of time, then it is their fault, just like a seller has to do their research before selling an item and may end up selling a valuable piece to a collector for a fraction of what they could have sold it.
Actually you can get thrown off of ebay for inflating your shipping charges like that!
Oh I know, that’s why they should be called on it! I charge more than actual shipping to cover materials and time spent packaging things, but whatever they are charging is way off.
Didn’t a similar situation come up with someone else and it turns out they were using freight on accident? I think it an auction for an Old Warrior.

Wow, that’s a really nice gift!

Do you collect Zuni Fetishes or did the magpie just catch your eye? Is it carved by Bowanie? His birds are so neat! Sounds like you got lots of goodies. I like watches/clocks where you can see the movement, too.
I just started getting into it! So far I have a Coyote named Pulgas that I put into my beer, a wolf made of fossil ivory, and the Magpie, who is indeed a Bowanie! I will get a raven made by him one day, and another magpie. I broke off the magpie’s face not even 20 minutes after I bought him. I am such a clutz, it makes me really sad. :<
