They feel like velvet. We lured some over with leaves at the Houston zoo so we could pet them. Nam, where you there too?

I have really been enjoying doing Okami style arts. They are quick and easy, a nice warm up exercise before I really get into something.
Done freehand with a brushpen, so things look a little wonky.
The first completed drawing of a friend’s character drawn to look like the gods in the game, with his own weapon, a reflector with the fursona’s usual weapon of chouce, baseball bats, attched. The guy also likes dragons, so I did a goofy one on the reflector disk too. AND I used Puffin the cat for a live model. The cats in this house get turned into so much art!
And a gift for Thornwolf. Her australian german shepherd mix character with a glaive weapon, rust and gears for her love of steampunk industrial things, and the iron cross that she wears around her neck, and green tassels because she decorates her place with green everything. I couldn’t find my usual brushpen for this one, so the inking isn’t as nice as I’d like.More to come! Thanks for looking.

The Art of Okami that is. It’s all in Japanese so I will have to get the English version when it comes out. Yummy!
I really really enjoyed it! I wish that there was more fantasy to it as well, but mr goat faun dude was great, I lvoed his voice.
I wish that the title in English was translated directly from Spanish…he’s not Pan, not at all!
The soundtrack….it’s so pretty, deep and stringy and fits the movie really well.

Is the childhood fantasy false? When the mother got sick again, it happened right after the mandrake was burned. And the doors through the walls? I think it leaves it up to the viewer to decide. :>
