when the black gold coiled dragons (mom and other one) were sold out on the site..I emailed her and asked her staight up if there were going to be anymore and if she knew when…she told me that there were some in stock but they didn’t want to put them on the site because there weren’t that many…she asked me if I wanted her to add them to my PYO orders I had placed!! well from the looks of the adult orange dragon and his description I don’t think he’ll lose very many fights! Besides it’ll toughen him up to battle that much!

If not, woo! I got a gold curlie!I had that happen to me when I ordered my black/gold curlie. The site said that there was one left so I bought it only to get an email later that day saying that there were no more and the site made a mistake. But I was told that since I bought it they were going to just paint me one!! That’s how I ended up with mine. 😀

Thanks everyone for taking a peek at him!
For the wings I had to look at some photographs of owls that I had taken a while ago and I could notice that when their wings were spread out the bars on the wings seemed to match up, but when the wings were together like the griffins, they didn’t match up that perfectly. So that’s where I got that from.
As for the look on the body I was using photos of lions and mountain lions to get a good idea of what kind of color I wanted. Some of the mountain lion pictures had almost like a dark red tint to them…I put that together with the paler look of the African lion and that’s what I came up with.
