Thanks to ALL you guys for the help! I found it👍🏼 Nowhere near ready to list but wanted to see the styles ppl use. And yea, when I eventually list, I’ll be on the computer, not phone😂

Yes! I can see that. I was kindly given a link to forum members but the amount is so much more than when I was very active here! I did reconnect with a friend through PM tho so that’s terrific. But thanks for the info. I just have to take time scrolling through that list.

You are most helpful & kind! Thank you for this info (& that link). I “might” be better at navigating here on the computer like I use to but sitting in that chair for a time is painful. So I’ve returned so far only via my phone (which can be a headache in and of itself)!
But I’ll definitely refer back to your directions here. I had been wanting to see a list of names as I know I know more ppl. Again, thanks so much for taking time to help! I really appreciate it!

Ahhh, Jennifer, of course I remember you under this name & Nambroth! You helped me through several things (I don’t believe anything was negative) and I always enjoyed seeing you in here. That’ll likely stay the same now!
No apologies for lengthy rules; gotta keep everyone safe & happy which is a huge task. I’m just frustrated with myself that I’m not as quick to pick up things and retain them in memory like I use to be here. It’s a bit nerve racking for me as well because I want to be sure I do everything right, with no missteps. As a “will be” seller (again) and previous forum buyer, I want to maintain the positive reputation I had back then. Like you, just want us all to be happy & fulfilled.

Thanks for the welcome backs & help with how to navigate what is a new forum to me, and thanks for tech support that’s been offered that I’ll have to figure out.BUT- please know I came here to say hello, see if some old friends remain, make new ones and yes, explain the main reason for my return which will EVENTUALLY be selling most of my collection I have left. Having said that, some ppl just swing in to read and that’s fine but they caught (& it’s my mistake) answers to some questions which includes mentioning some pieces in passing. I’ve been getting numerous PMs asking for more information and even staking a hopeful claim. I understand & get it, believe me! I’ve been a collector since the beginning of Windstone. I know what it’s like to hope for that “grail” (new term for me), or even a piece I’d needed to fill in a family.
I’m nowhere near ready to sell yet (wish I was but this is tedious on my own in many directions). So I kindly ask that you please wait til pieces are listed in the Classifieds section (I’ll make a post in the Grail section that I have a sale to check out to maybe help some of you fulfill a dream) rather than coming to me in so many PMs. It will slow down the overall sale and it’s only fair everyone gets to see what will be offered closer to the same time.
I truly hope anyone reading understands where I’m coming from. There’s some time to go so, while I remember the eagerness & excitement of a large sale, please pour a large mug of chamomile tea and relax so you all get there at the same time and have an equal shot should you desire something.

Your name looks familiar to me and I thank you for the poetic welcome back😄 Yes, most sad to part with the only things you’ve ever collected from their start (many years) or at all. They feel like live pets to me and anyone that knows me knows I’m a huge animal lover and advocate. For these and other reasons is why I’d like them to go to dedicated WE collectors who know exactly how wonderful Melody’s art is. Learning the forum anew (it’s changed as has PayPal & pretty much everything😂). This will be a slow process and overwhelming undertaking. Hopefully I can fulfill some ppls “grails” (new term for me) but at the end of the day, hope anyone that wants what will be sold will get some joy & happiness from them.Good to see you!

Pip, this is great info. But with all I’m dealing with & facing, it’s overwhelming. I keep reading the Classified rules over and over so I’m right on point. That would be great if dragonmedley still does have me on the white side of the list but if I have to forge a new reputation, I’ll do what I must!
I did see in the rules about PP fees and how to properly add them to the cost of a piece to break even there. I’d not use close friends or family bc yes, that can bite you & while I adore old schoolers (like you & dragon & drag0n etc, id not want that pressure on you guys.
Browsing ALL of the store was eye opening as pieces I have (either piece or color… was the original red called Ruby?) my pieces aren’t even there as retired, they’re THAT retired! I see the opportunity that I could make good money on those pieces (an obvious one which I will ask for what I paid when stumbling upon is the Jade Scratcher or just a couple unusually rare pieces like a Russet Curl), I’m sticking to the $10 less than what I paid as most were direct from the store. Some are still there but remain out of stock yet I’ll still ask for $10 less than what it goes for (which is what I paid having looked at them). As I’ve said, where I’m going, I can’t take it with me and like actual pets, I really want what I offer to go to truly devoted WE collectors. If they don’t sell here, they will be donated to my local no kill county shelter who often has auctions (silent and otherwise) so they can get whatever they can for the animals. I’ve documented a long time ago, with pix of the items, what they’re worth and am specific what simply can’t be sold because they are very old repaints (which due to rules, I’d not do anymore). The ones that are I’ve written on felt DO NOT SELL; REPAINT. They’re few & will stay with my mom or with my friend who runs the animal shelter.
I just want to be sure I do this all correctly as I’ve never been a scammer (been on the other end and know how it hurts & frustrates). Bottom line, I’ve been collecting (save these last few years; didn’t want to see what I know I can’t have nor can afford anymore) since Windstone started & want pieces I’ve bought from stores that use to carry them, bought from ppl here, eBay and mostly direct from store, to go to those who know just how special Melody’s art is. That’ll help me rest easier and hopefully bring joy to ppl here.

Yep, I’m in deep SouthEast too. Thank you for letting me know those prices as I have an OW but shipping, OMG! Luckily I don’t need any boxes back. That’s kind of you to be helping drag0n with her collection & tipping me off to rough current shipping prices. I have to reread the rules of Classifieds here (I always was in excellent standing in my transactions here but many wouldn’t remember & others don’t know me so I want to get everything done to the letter). Plus PayPal is updated and newer now. My account has always been up to date there but can’t remember the last time I used it- buying but especially selling. A lot to master before I get going. I just hope I can get it done.
Thanks for the encouraging words about old school vintage pieces & paints. Hope you’re right and that too, maybe I can fill in members of my time here, pieces that they never got their hands on. I know being on a Wishlist for various pieces, the emails never came as Mel exploded forward/onward.

Fatalbeauty, thanks for letting me know that what was the WE Flea Market is now called Classified Ads. Wow, that’s a long read of Rules etc😂😳 And evidently, PayPal has changed so much as well. When we used it back in the day, it didn’t have fees (which is why I avoid eBay now). There’s a lot for me to go over, here and there (for those that would choose PayPal) and catch up on & learn.
But thank you very much for letting me know where I can post items I’ll sell to collectors here. That was helpful & is appreciated.

Hi Kim! That’s a lot to take in. I’m hoping collectors will see my Flea Market post when I’m ready to get this underway. Right now I’m trying to get familiar with forum life & forum itself as it’s changed since I was last here.
I have no fantasy color or pastel pieces; or grab bags. I do have a male griffin that was a test paint that Mel did especially for me (she signed it) and it became a production color (trying to remember the name exactly; mainly black with “sunset” wings). I don’t have the very specific few you mentioned as I painted over my white hatching Pegasus & the grulla was one I’d always been looking for too (never found one).
I don’t have pieces that have been created since 2015 probably. Maybe a Curled Dragon (I know I have a rare one at least in that group and if you like color, I have the Rainbow one).
I have original adult Kirins, Oriental Dragons, Peacock Old Warrior Dragon, Poads, some natural pieces like the chubby bengal cats, scratching dog… I have to go look at them as they’ve been stored or boxed for years. I have griffins of older colors but a couple are family spoken for.
You’ll see when I list them when I get enough strength to take this on. Some I probably need to take pix of but can’t if they’re fully sealed for years. Please just be patient; this is easy for you guys but getting back into this is tough for me as well as in my condition. I can’t even remember how to figure out how to know how much shipping would be; worse if one person wants multiples (I never liked shipping multiples bc they’re so fragile and won’t if they’re heavy items like Warrior or Griffins).
You’ll see once I start getting them up in the Flea Market. It’s going to take me a while to organize. I just had to see if I could even get back on the forum under my name because those I’ve bought from & sold to know my reputation is honest. Hang in there- the pieces aren’t going anywhere!

Hey Sherry- so sorry but I don’t have a Bobcat (& couldnt find it in the store even if retired or out of stock🤔). That’s a piece that was created or recreated during the years I was away. I’ve never seen that piece, to my recollection. Sorry I can’t help you with this one but sending good luck!

Pipster! Great to see another familiar name! Thanks for the welcome (back) and hopefully when I get going, I’ll have a piece you need, want or have been hoping to come across (or all of the above)! Yes, getting my prized possessions to TRUE WE lovers & collectors is important to me. I’ve been collecting (save these last few years) since Windstone started and I know ppl here truly value the art. I’ll know pieces will be going to good homes. It means a great deal to me that ppl realize they’re not “dust collectors” or just some other statue (like resin pieces which can be beautiful but are no museum quality gypsum made, painstakingly crafted & painted pieces like Windstone). Ppl here know the value and I don’t mean just monetary worth (despite the fact that no matter how 100% mint most pieces are, I’m still going to offer at a bit less than what I bought them for in the store).
