LOL it wasn’t THAT bad! I had just picked elvish words that i thought fit them… i can’t remember either one now in elvish, it had something to do with “hawk friend” because i thought his white shoulder looked like the kind of pale arm you get if you use a hawk or eagle in falconry lol
Ember’s elvish name meant something along the lines of “shadow dappling from a tree”
Thanks! ^_^ My dad said they had to have one-syllabel names, so they would be easy to yell quickly LOL I did my best 😉 I almost gave them elf names (LOTR elvish anyway) but i was shot down lol

That’s one of my two adorable-yet-huge cats, who are brother and sister ^_^ Blaze there, he’s the big brother and Ember hasn’t done anything cute and holiday related that i could see LOL I caught Blaze sleeping in the gift-wrapping supplies earlier today XD

and back around the time it was drawn, i randomly found that image (maybe on Elfwood? I can’t even remember now @_@) and i distinctly remember printing out a copy of that image and affixing it to my highschool agenda because it was soooooo awesome! 😀

Try the Green Earth in Burlington. She told me their franchise was different from the others. She still carries Windstone (she still did last summer when I got my Black&Gold male and that’s where I got my Ruby mother). I haven’t called yet for the golds or the emp-peas, but I’m guessing that if she doesn’t have them, she’ll order them.
Oh, oh! You know what? We should get together there and raid the place next year! 😀
Oh really? That’s good to know! And yeah, that’s a great idea! I don’t know Burlington that well, i usually have only been there for the IKEA heh heh A combining of forces for a raid sounds like a great idea ^_^

I only know of 2 withing driving distance of Montreal (and I don’t have a car). There are 2 in Ottawa, although one of them isn’t listed on the Dealers page so maybe he doesn’t carry anymore? I don’t know of any in Toronto at all.

Yeah, i do not know of any stores offhand in the Greater Toronto Area that sell Windstones (Green Earth used to but they stopped a few years ago, which is how i got a few of my gargoyle pieces and my dad was able to get me a Peacock Emperor since they were getting rid of their remaining pieces at a big discount) and it really sucks
But i DO know a few people in Alberta, if there were a particular store that had them on sale i might be able to convince them to get the piece for me…. but it’d have to be a pretty hefty deal :/
I’ve actually been to West Edmonton Mall a number of times with my relatives, in fact i almost drowned in the wave pool there one time 😉

I try to keep my sailor mouth under control in public anyways just as a common curtosey, but if I slip up and say “Holy Sh*t! What a great sale!” I could get escorted out. I think it’s pretty silly. Actually downright moronic. *shrug*
I for one think its a great thing. People today talk about kids being out of control and having no respect. How am I supposed to raise my child to not curse and respect elders when the elders are running around the mall using profanity? Now, I am an avid curser, however I feel there is a time and place and out in public (in view of children)is not it. I think cursing is for when you are around other adults who are not offended by it and who know when (and when not) to use it. Like adult formats. Bars or your own house… I think that folks who curse on a regular basis in front of everyone, without caring who they offend, just need a better vocabulary and better manners. Notice I said those who do it on a regular basis and dont care who they offend before you lambast me. Just my two cents.

My brother is VERY fond of the f-word when he’s upset or angry about something and it’s really tiring to hear “this f’ing guy took my f’ing pencil during my f’ing test that i f’ing failed because of the f’ing time it took to get another f’ing pencil!” and so forth.
Once in a while i slip in front of kids and i usually feel really bad about it.
