My brood arrived! I received 175, T9, 2 MRT and a Stone color.

175 is for trade. T9 is in her forever home. The MRT’s might be for trade if there is one I like more.

Sold by Windstone Courtney, just probably before your time. I’m talking like… 9-10 years ago, maybe even longer now.
Some of the Laborite Griffins and Helen’s Snow Leopard and Tiger Griffins went for quite a handful as well, but I don’t recall the prices. I am still pretty sure nothing will surpass that Laborite Lap though. LOL!
Maybe a Laborite Secret Keeper if she had ever painted one, but those weren’t around in the Jennifer Miller days I don’t think. Either that or they were too costly to ship perhaps because she didn’t physically paint at the factory like the other test painters.

          That’s soooooooo cool 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I wish I could have seen that.

No, its certainly not the most expensive to date, but it may be a record breaker for a mother Pegasus. The most expensive thing I remember in recent memory was the Laborite Lap Dragon by Jennifer Miller that went over 5K. Back in the early days there were a couple Prototype Old Warriors and Secret Keepers that went for close to that as well, the 3-4K area. Some of the Emerald Peacock Secret Keepers may have actually surpassed that because they were limited to 6 I believe and they were one of the very first colors introduced in that sculpture available for purchase via ebay. At the time, it was thought it would never be made as a item you could buy through the store so the demand was very high so the auction prices reflected that.

Were these pieces sold by Windstone or was it a private seller reselling them?

I’m specifically talking about items sold by Windstone (first sale).

I can’t recall anything selling for quite this much.

The last bunch was the Flaming Jaguar griffin family was the biggest price tags.

            Also a yellow hatching peg.

Congrats on selling this lovey. Does this take the record for the single most expensive item sold by Windstone?

I would totally buy pastel rainbow griffins. That color would look lovely on them.

Squeak for any Sitting Oriental Dragons in any production colors.

Rainbow, pastel rainbow, copper patina, blue morpho especially.

Melody you can run it as a “hybrid grab bag” if you don’t want to use the dumb Kickstarter messaging system.

I’m sure a bunch of us have emailed Susie already but I’m also sure if you paint extra rainbow tiger ones and release it as a Windstone Editions store grab bag they would be snapped up immediately.

Maybe paint a healthy batch, fulfill the Susie email ones, then release the leftovers into the store as a Bantam Fantasy Tiger Grab Bag.

                    Melody you are a genius.

I didn’t even recognize that those ones were the orphan ones from earlier.

It’s like you have a magic wand.

                    I will do that!!!

                    Thank you 🙏

I’ll message Melody on Kickstarter to see if she can make an exception.

There is a big difference between asking and receiving clones after the Kickstarter and making a completely new item after the Kickstarter has concluded.

                      I hope I can get one 💫

I wouldn’t even need to pick a specific one. I would be happy with a mystery rainbow tiger. 💴 💵 💰

                        Maybe a post Kickstarter add-on. 🙏🙏

Having trouble with the eBay listing. I listed it twice and it’s not posting correctly.

I might sell him in the classifieds. PM me if interested. Going to see if I can figure out the eBay stuff.

If my peg is anyone’s grail I have him for sale on eBay. I decided I only need one so this other one is for sale.

I told myself if I ever came by one in a store I would have to buy it.

My earliest memory of shopping with my mum was going into Wicks-N-Sticks and seeing the Windstones.

Yeah, I don’t want to give people false hope. You are more likely to find a Windstone in a pawn shop or second hand store than you are going to find a physical retail store selling them.

I just went through and clicked on every single dealer on that list (cause I have nothing better to do 😆).

Besides giving my phone cancer I found 2 places that are actively selling Windstones and I don’t know if I would trust buying from them online (no PayPal option).

I don’t think Windstones are sold in retail stores anymore?
