        Squeak!
I love that little guy! He kind of reminds me of a cute little puppy (if puppies had scales and horns!).

Is there a way to check to see if a certain location has the ones you want? I could give you my zip code and you could check to see if my locations have them (I don’t know much about them except that their faces are cuter than trolls were). I have twin 6 year olds, and my hubby and I are both toy collectors, so we’re there all the time!

            Hi there!
If you’d like something of Windstone quality to practice on before you start a dragon, you could try a small PYO like the Foo Pup or a Muse. The Muse has everything (scales, feathers, fur) so you can try your hand at all different textures on one little critter.

I don’t know a lot about ceramics, but I remember when my mom made them when I was a kid. Certain glazes would have a glass like finish when they were fired, and some turned pearly and iridescent after they were fired. I still have a bunch of the awesome pearly vases she made, they’re pretty neat! Makes me miss the ceramics studio we used to live by!

LOL! I feel like I should have waited and placed my order like a day or two later! All the colorful ones must have gotten packed last!

I didn’t get a tracking number email for mine either. I got the “your order has been updated to completed”, but no notice of a tracking number. I wonder if Susie knows that a bunch of people didn’t get a tracking email?

My top favorites are the spooky looking ones covered in scatterbats or eerie shadows! Can’t wait to see some of those!

All of the auctions I’ve won I had different approaches. A few years ago there was a Buckskin baby kirin that I really wanted, I bid on the first day and then never looked at the auction again until I got an email a few days later that said “Congrats! You won this auction!!” Yay! Happy accidental win!

**I have a problem with bidding on eBay, as soon as I see “You’ve been outbid..” I KEEP BIDDING just to win. When the auction is over I realize what number I typed and step back and go “What have I done?!”**

A couple weeks ago there was a little dragon that I really wanted, so to keep myself in check, I bid the highest number I wouldn’t feel guilty about within the last minute then held my breath as the clock counted down. Nobody else must’ve been watching that auction end because I won him for less than I had bid. I expected a snipe or two at the end!
My beloved eBay Poad, I was only in the lead by a few cents! For the three days she was on eBay, I looked under all the couch cushions, seats of my car, everywhere and bid to the exact cent I could cover with the shipping cost. If the other bidder would’ve bid another dollar, she wouldn’t be mine today!
Some things are just meant to be when it comes to Windstones I guess! <3

And here is a Pebble Red Fox!

“COPPER” PEBBLE RED FOX TEST PAINT #1 BY MELODY

                          http://www.ebay.com/itm/WINDSTONE-EDITIONS-COPPER-PEBBLE-RED-FOX-TEST-PAINT-FIGURINE-STATUE-/301212679963?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4621acbf1b

This little fella must be a world record!

                          Not even close….

Wow! Really? You mean there was another tiny sculpt that went for more?

I wasn’t referring to the total sale price, but the high bid for such a little one.

I was thinking that too! For a tiny piece with a non-intricate paint job, it’s definitely got to be a record for a pebble! The very first pebble cat that was ever sold was sold on eBay in 2010, it went for about a third of the price of that fox (I believe the first kitty was a Siamese and there was also an awesome tabby)! I hope these auctions are inspiring the production of these little guys!! I’ve been checking eBay every night lately hoping to nab one of these little balls of cuteness!!

When my cat had kittens, I remember giving the mama cat dry kitten food (something like “Kitten Chow”). It helps gives her and the babies a little extra nutrition.

The shape of the sculpt’s eye sockets affect how the dichroic eyes look. Dichroics look AMAZING on the Secret Keeper and the Old Warrior with their deeper eye sockets, but are a little too reflective in the Lap Dragon. It looks as if the Fledgie is somewhere between the two. Myself, I love the way the dichroic eyes catch low light and gleam out at you. My SK has made me jump more than once when I walk by the cabinet at night, and all I can see is a glowing crescent of eye in the shadows. SO COOL!

I thought I was the only one!! My little Poad seems to follow me when I walk past, it actually gives my hubby the willies, LOL!

They are neat, aren’t they! They pop up randomly on eBay pieces or the occasional grab bag. Was it Olympia’s “Cinnamon” dragons that had them? I have a grab bag young Poad that has them, they are really cool! I wish more critters had them!

I had a job that made me feel the exact same way! My supervisor seemed to get annoyed with having a newb and on two different occasions he flipped out on me for asking how something should be done. That absolutely terrified me, I was scared to do anything because I may be doing it wrong and he may come around and yell at me again (I mean actual yelling and name calling)! As soon as someone would say “go ask Marc” I got a nauseous feeling and wanted to hide in a corner and cry. All the other employees seemed to be organized in cliques and I found myself off in dark corners of the store alone most of the time. Not long after I started they hired a new guy and immediately he came and sat by ME! Every free minute that we had we would go find each other. For the first month of two I was petrified of having to go to work, but once I made a friend suddenly I found myself talking to more of my coworkers (maybe since I already had a friend I didn’t give a rat’s butt if they liked me or not) and eventually I became friends with most of the people on my shift.
I think if you find just one person, another newb or just one friendly face, suddenly the whole place will be a lot more tolerable. Until then…you have us! 🙂 ((HUG))
