      Such a beautiful chicken!

Hi Melody!! Thank you for the compliments haha, but they were just pics off the internet. I couldnt figure out a way to post pics of mine due to the sizing requirements.
If you dont mind, what are you thoughts on a Leghorn chicken pyo? No worries if you decided not to do one, but id figured to ask if it might be something you thought about. I appreciate your response. Thank you!!

Hi Melody! I wanted to put another idea in you ear on a hopeful thought of seeing more pyo chickens. I would love to see you craft chickens with larger combs and tails (Leghorns!). I used to own some white Leghorns and it would be precious treasure to me to paint a few to look like them. ❤️

Still working on the castle, Toaster had more issues to sort out so I am now working a next-to-final master! I don’t give ETAs for this reason! Lots’a speed bumps with these things.

                Thank you Melody! 🥰

The most recent update that I have seen was posted by Melody about a week ago in “What’s Next on the Schedule”.
                  Quoting it here:

Toaster is having a final “master” mold made on him now. I should get a final test-paint casting by next week ( today is July 5 ). So he only needs a final going over for problems, and then we will have production molds made.
                  Getting there!

The PYO castle is in the works. Marco, our mold maker, is trying different ways to cast the window openings.

Oh! Sorry somehow I missed that. Thank you!

I have experienced “pressure marks” on more than one occasion from the polypropylene bags being almost melted into the clearcoat of dragons. This takes a long time of being stored in their boxes. I don’t know if its heat, humidity, or that in combination with pressure and time. I’ve noticed it especially happen on Peacock, Emerald, White, and original brown (ESPECIALLY original brown, not the old ones but the ones painted later like the Riser, Spectral, Lap Scratcher, Old Warrior, Hatching Royalty etc) Not the original Male, Mother, and Hatching baby.

The folds in the bags create what look like dents in the clearcoat and though the bags don’t stick to the piece it deforms the clearcoat. I’ve had to fix it many times by lightly sanding the deformities, trying like heck not to accidently sand off the paint, and then re-clearcoat the whole piece. I’ve had it happen to my pieces after roughly 2 years of storage, but I’ve had others stored just as long it doesn’t happen to. It’s very bizarre.

I have a dragon that was sent to me in it’s original box ftok a seller but iy was wrapped in bubble wrap since they lost the plastic bag. Years later I got a bag from Melody’s team but it was after I realized the damage that yes, bubble wrap can deform the clear coat. So in some spots there’s “bubble rings” on the scales. What clear coat did you use on yours?

Sharing a response that I got from Susie on this topic 😊

They should at 55-80 degrees – that’s excellent. I most people’s homes they are not that carefully climate controlled. I don’t know the specifics on highest or lowest temperatures they can be exposed to (I think its quite high and quite low) – but I know that’s an excellent range!

“Weird but I signed up for the list and never got an email about these critters. I assume more are being made? 🥰”

I’m sorry, sending the emails to the waitlist and filling the orders is taking some time. We sent email notices to less than one half of those on the waiting list because that was all of the Barongs that were already packed up ready to travel. As soon as more Barongs are packed up we will be sending out more emails. That may be tomorrow, August 3rd. We apologize for the wait! Thank you for your patience.

                        Thank you Susie 💜

The dragon arrived! I love the prism colors! Reminds me of Peacock, but with more color spectrum. Super cool! Thank you Mrs. Melody!!
