Great photos. I love seeing everyone’s pets.

I lost track a bit after I received my uni, now I’ve tried to go through and mark some more off. Probably still a few mistakes in here!

I hoped someone would have received one of those…what I assume are baby bush pigs? There are two of them: orange with black and white, spots and stripes on the left side of the photo.
I’m curious to see those, mostly because I can’t think for the life of me what they are, baby bush pigs is my first guess! Since there is also a Red River Hog (next to the chipmunk mix up the top). I’d love to know if someone can think of a better animal they might be. It’s really been bugging me since these unis came out! XD

I can agree with that. I found myself unemployed and looking for work much longer than I imagined, so any money I got came from hard work doing odd jobs and commissions. What I bought with that money felt good because I knew I worked really hard for it. Of course working full time is also hard work, but I do have savings now that I can buy things, if I justify the cost in my mind.
It can be really easy to get caught up in collecting (not just Windstone, but anything for that matter). I know I have to tell myself to limit things to a small size, because we really can fall out of the hobby just as quickly.

I hope things get better for you as well! =)

    Thanks everyone!

Darkmoon dancer: good ideas! Now that you mention it I do see some monarch butterfly to him especially. Thanks!

My little uni finally arrived, what an agonizing wait!
He is so handsome. I can’t think of any animal that he resembles so he might be a bit of a random fantasy design.

He is burnt umber, with golden tiger stripes on his belly, and white stripes and a few spots through his mane, face and legs. He also has a black fern like pattern down his back line. Super cute! His eyes are indian red and he has a white crystal.

And here’s mine. The flash washed out the face a little bit, but it was needed to reflect the colors.

Very cute! I love the zebra faced ones =)

I think of that colour as chartreuse, which is midway between yellow and green.

I think it looked awesome in the ferret uni though.

Thanks! I really hope you get one of the hunting dogs that you were looking for! I love the blending into the shoulders and the stripes tipping the ears. Only thing I could have wished more for would have been maybe green eyes to match the gem.

I think I am going to keep him at least for now, but may be willing to trade for a good offer.

He and Eggplant(as I have come to name the Poad in the top photo) are actually the first two Windstone pieces I have ever gotten. I also got a Ki-rin paint your own but have not got to work on it yet because also in reference to the picture they showed up the same time as the new Magic the Gathering set came in to my Boyfriend’s store. So they got to sit off to the side as I sorted cards for binders.

Thank you! I’m not particularly looking for a hunting dog, but there seem to be quite a few left I’m very keen one, I hope I’ll get a good surprise either way! XD

Congrats on your first two Windstones too, I just love the Poads as well =)
