I’m open to partial trades…1/2 cash the other half PYO’s the Kirin,the Unicorn,the Griffin or the Keeper. I’d like 2 PYO’s or (5 PYO’s dulpicate of the Kirin or the Unicorn plus you pay shipping in exchange for My angry Unicorn.) did that make any sense?
Sculpted and painted him. I removed his existing mane and tail and then lifted one leg slightly, scilpted new mane,tail,leg feathers then set the wings into the body with a wire and sculpted over the joint to strenthen the area and make it flow more naturally. He was painted with a special glass paint to achieve the jewel look to his scales. He was fun and a challange.
Here’s one I did, His body is a Breyer horse, had lots of stuff done to him and the wings are robbed off a broken toy I got for .25

Start drawing again or even just printing what you have 🙂heck we had people stealing stuff at a yard sale for Goodness sake your gonna steal a .25 shirt! heck just take the thing! This people just kept pilling things up and wandering over to their truck and putting the stuff in there. Like we didn’t see them then the guy came over to haggle over a 5.00 fishing pole I said it would be 15.00 with all that OTHER stuff you just put in your truck! Fools! come on! we aren’t talking high dollar crap we are talking 2-3 dollars top….WHY steal it!! because you can??!! sheesshhh no morals anymore, no right, no wrong….just sad 🙁
there is a lady that makes and sells the wings, great artist. Make sure you read the size of the wings!
http://www.abbeyincstudios.com/catalog.htmI use Walmart brand primer, it’s a good idea to wash the model with soap and water I use dawn, I lightly sand the body to get a better tooth for the primer. I rinse and wipe down the body after sanding and I prime in layers. I do at least 2 coats. I use acrylic paint and powdered pigments. I have discovered after many many mistakes that before starting another layer of color it better be very dry if the paint is to thick when you apply another layer the wet layer pulls the dry layer off. I water my colors down a bit, less brush strokes. Painting acrylic paint on a plastic pony is a tricky bussiness.
I use magic sculpt to remake manes and tails and other parts like neck or changing the shape of legs. It’s a two part epoxy and you mix it till the color is even and you have between 1 and 2 hours of working time and within 24 hours it’s rock hard and can be sanded,grinded and carved. I use a dremal tool to hack up the plastic body and remove the manes and tails.
I’ve been doing it for almost 5 years. I mostly do them for myself lately as the market seems to be at a stand still.
There is a great web site called “Model Horse Blab” they charge a yearly fee to view all the pages but it’s devoted to models. There is a free site called “Fallen Leaves” you can get all kinds of tips and advice on either site.

I was gifted with a Graphics tablet for Chirstmas and I’m loving!!it…

I have been working on these wanted to show them. I have a opush mold and these are made from ultra light sculpty they are so much fun to paint
so I’ve been sitting on my couch in the evenings with hubby as opposed to sitting in my work work painting or sculpting. I’m one of those that can’t be idle I have to be doing something. I’ve been drawing. A friend suggested I do ACEO’s and see if I can sell any so that’s what I’ve been doing. It’s not as easy to do drawings in that small of a scale. I’m liking it but I’ve only produced three so far. I’m working on some mermaids at the moment.
I got these because I’ve been wanting to make dolls, I realy bought the mold because I really wanted to paint them 🙂
these are cast in a clay that dried like foam,very soft and they can be cut with a sharp xacto to cut the excess after casting. As soon as I can find a cheep toaster oven I’ll try them in sculpty.so I’m trying something new…
This is a work in progress…I used the head and torso of a toy horse and cut it in half then sculpted the tail,leg and mane and of course the tail. So what do you think?

This is a blue jean jacket I painted for a young friends birthday. Just wanted to share.
I went to the doctor a few weeks ago because I’m living in constant pain…they think either CPS or Fibromalasia…can’t spell it.
Long story short. They did blood work some I got then, and some today, my chlosetoral (sp) is way down only 205!!! whooo hooo for me!
but today they called and said my liver values are off and want me to come in for a ultrasound of my liver.
Now I’m wondering if my liver values can be off because I’m living on 1600mg of ibuprofen and lortabs every day, I also am on blood pressure meds, antidepressants and xanex. I don’t drink, don’t smoke and don’t do drugs.
I think it’s all the dang pain meds I’m living on.I am wondering if I am out of bounds by asking for a second blood test/opion? Like if I was to not take the 800mg ibuprofin 3x’s a day for a few weeks…
I’m just so sick of doctors! I guess I just don’t want to hear that I have something else wrong! It’s bad enough I have blood pressure issues and migranes.
So what would you do?Custom orders on the boxes and the mirrors I may be able to get a wood handled brush if anyone would like a matched set. If you have a creature, horse, dog you’d like on a box let me know I have a few raw boxes left 🙂
I ave a few more boxes to post but I’ve been up sine 4:30 and have to do it again in the morning.
