I’m strongly considering selling my first grab bag baby, he’s a light chestnut pinto. Don’t know if that’s what you’re looking for though? He’s in my avatar.
That’s adorable!! They’re still in stock though, guess with 100+ of them and a limit of 2 they stay in the store for longer. Some of them are totally adorable, I can’t wait to see photos.

I see tons and tons of palominos and solid coloured ones, waaay less appaloosas. If I get a palomino or something else solid, I’d almost certainly trade for a leopard appaloosa or anything grulla. Throwing it out there! 😀
So I’ve been gone for a few days and saw the thread and was all sad, but they’re still in the store! How exciting. I didn’t like my first grab bag baby very much so am glad to be getting another!

Congrats pegasus! She’s beautiful. I was the next highest bidder, but it’s good I didn’t win, poor wallet doesn’t need another beating! Do you have a grab bag young or baby to match her? I do hope they do a grulla pinto #2… 🙂
I got the varnish appaloosa today, and just…wow. She’s my first ebay unicorn and I just love her! The photos just really don’t do these guys any justice at all.

Huh you’re in luck, the person who outbid you has retracted all their bids. Because they “entered the wrong amount”…um ok. That was like 15 bids. Siiiiggghhhh

Melody I know what you mean… crazy colours on real horses just don’t look realistic on models most of the time. I find it’s still inspiring to look throuhg photos of crazy coloured horses, even if you just end up painting a palomino. (At least I’ve found, haha)
A solid black one sounds pretty actually! There’s a racehorse called Midnight Lute who has that blue sheen to him, gorgeous colour!
I bring moar pictures! Some of these may have been done though. I think more “silver” anything would be awesome. I just *love* silver buckskins, and silver dapples are gorgeous too. Anything with the silver gene. If any get cut off, you can right click and hit “open in new tab” or something to see the full thing.

And even though melody has painted so many appaloosas already, here’s some more. Just for fun. I honestly never really liked appaloosas at all, but after this grab bag stuff they’ve really grown on me. Annnddd appaloosa foals are actually BORN with the right colouring. Unlike dapple greys… a light coloured dapple grey baby just wouldn’t look right, you know? Haha
