So I did screen printing this past semester for my intro to printmaking class, and decided I rather liked it and I’m thinking about getting the equipment to start doing it at home to make t-shirts and things.
In order to do it, though, I need to take pre-orderes, and I thought I would check and see if there was anyone here who was interested. The LJ post I linked to has more information.
I think I’m going to add to the ‘not big on the griffins, but I want this one!’ chorus.
He’s gorgeous, and I might actually have to try for him…
I found it on ebay just now for slightly cheaper. book+shipping at amazon would’ve been ten bucks. Just picked mine up for a little over $7
I cannot find that prequel novel in any bookstore around here. It looks like I might have to hit amazon.com, though I hate the idea of paying $10 for it. I do want to read it, though.

I’m not banking on a generation 1 copy cat like I’ll bet he is. I’m seriously looking forward to it, and I think he should go see it before he completely writes it off. It looks like it’s going to be fantastic. I’ve seen all the pictures and the trailers.
I’m looking forward to harry and Pirates too, but not like I am Transformers.

ThanksI don’t know when the Keeper will be ready.
We are actually a little unsure if it will be a pyo or a production piece at the moment… same goes for the large winged wolf.. if the dragon is production, I’ll probably do the large wolf as a pyo.
I would prefer to do them the other way around, but we’ll see. (Legal crap.)
We haven’t set prices yet.
The Muse and unicorn are next. I’m not supposed to post pics until we get the copyright filed on these two, and nobody has had time to get to that yet.. anyway I think they are being cast now. I’ll try to post pics this week.I’d much rather have the wolf as a production piece myself, I’d sure scrape up to by her.
Is there another geek around here like me who’s going to spend the money to see Transformers first before going to Harry Potter and Pirates? (I’ve totally skipped out on Spidey, sorry, wasn’t all that into the first movie)
What movies are you waiting to see?
I’ve only had really horrible problems and that was when I bought something from someone I *knew*(!!) from a Knight Rider message board.
I called the guy, emailed him like crazy, and even ended up with someone else who knew him better intervening and getting my stuff sent after I’d left him negative feedback. he didn’t retaliate, but he shot himself in the foot with plenty more folks than just me, and ended up getting kicked off ebay, his account was suspended.
My only other issues have been slow shipping (seller taking two weeks to get to the fracking post office and send stuff I needed to have at a certain time).
You can’t give up on everybody because of one bad apple, but do check feedback, even if it’s all positive, the next time you bid.

Heck I’d take him, he can’t be any worse than Rain. He’s a very pretty kitty.

Tatsu is Japanese for the word Dragon……she was run over by a truck and a trailer and by my z06 corvette. I didn’t have a choice….just tried not to hit her with the tires…
The only thing wrong with her was a broken tooth….amazing how resilient cats are. I named her Tatsu because she came home and whipped Mephistopheles into submission. She is truly a DRAGON! She reminded me of the Old Warrior Dragon….soooo Tatsu became her name…
Oh, ok! It was the name of a subvillain in the old 1990s Turtles movie and that’s what I thought of first, but I’m glad she’s not named after a bald, grunting ninja!
Tatsu wouldn’t be named after the baldish dude in the first TMNT movie, would he?
