I don’t guess I could persuade someone who might not get the set, but will get one or the other, to grab me one (or the other)? I don’t hang out on forums and such much when I’m at work.

I had to move back in with the ‘rents for a little minute, and I currently don’t have any real desk space to set up with my laptop nearby and my paints and brushes comfortably anymore. My desk is in the garage, gathering spiders. So I sit at the bar counter in the kitchen, and the stools are just a hair too high for comfortable painting.
I’d sit at the kitchen table, but like most horizontal surfaces at waist height in a busy household, it’s gathered plenty of clutter. 😉
Geez you guys. I’m possibly a quarter of the way done with mine. I wish I had the kind of time to sit down and just blaze through like that (not to mention the spinal fortitude to sit hunched over it…)
I have a ball python that won’t eat anything but live (man how I *wish* he’d head frozen, not only would it be much more convenient, but I also wouldn’t have to sit there and watch him kill a rat), but I put the rat in, let the snake do his thing, and supervise until I’m just as sure as the snake that the rat is dead and not going to harm him, and the worst for the rat never lasts more than a minute or so.
Some folks, on the other hand, keep snakes as pets for entirely the wrong reasons.
To be honest, I hope amethyst *doesn’t* become a production color. Purple is OK, but not *that much* purple. *twitch*
As unfortunate as it is, I really doubt that you’re going to get that much for him right now, DM. I have to honestly say that I wouldn’t even if I had it.
He doesn’t really use any chat clients like Yahoo, AIM or MSN very often, *never uses P2P file sharing stuff. The only thing I can think is he must be getting it from an ad or something from his surfing. He doesn’t really visit any sites of questionable virtue (he sits in a chair right next to my mother with the computer in his lap of an evening when he’s doing his web stuff). So I have no other theory as to where he’s picked it up.
I don’t *think* he’s prone to indescriminate downloading, but, you know, I don’t ask too much about his surfing habits. I could lecture until I was hoarse and he still wouldn’t hear me.
