No, actually, it’s a 2010 Mustang. But it is black. 😉 I don’t remember where I got that avatar, but I just remember that I liked it.
If you’re on facebook, PM me with your name, I’ll friend you and you can see pics of the ‘Deo without me hijacking drag0n’s thread.
If you’re not on facebook, I can make a thread in Community.
*sigh* I know it won’t help you with funding your convention, but if you still have that Inuyasha doll after I get my new MacBook, maybe I can swing it.
Being poor and car payments suck (even if my car is nice).
This is where I’m at too. I have a lot of stupid little paperbacks lying around that I need to take to a used book store because I will never read them again (they were good to gnaw on, but one read is plenty). The authors I dearly love (and my favorite books) I have all in hardcover, except for the Temeraire series.
I would get an e-reader just to cut back on the paperback clutter, and keep the hardcover favorites for the smell, feel and sound of a book.
Bumping. Still hoping to sell this girl.
Ain’t that the truth.
I should probably do something like this myself and get some practice in, but if you feel up to it, here’s one of mine.

Sent you a PM, TDM.
I honestly don’t think it would be too bad if the art that Those Artists crank out wasn’t hypertrophied, freakish, fetishist nonsense. Or worse. With those artists, it’s never just normal…er…piano playing.
Or something.
I’ll see if I can’t get something done up for her by the 15th. I have a brand new bristol pad that needs broken in anyway.
I’ll have to look a little closer at it when I get home tonight. I might be able to come up with something for her.
Either that, or the driver of the car decided they didn’t want to stop. Or weren’t looking. I saw something similar happen right in front of me when I was sitting at an intersection, waiting to turn left at a green light where there was oncoming traffic.
The van in front of me pulled right on out to hang a left and straight into the path of another van and got broadsided pretty hard, knocked it up onto two wheels for a second. Nobody got hurt too badly, but the driver in front of me should have been paying more attention.
That discussion regarding Christians and their attraction to his work is pretty interesting. I’m not really a fan of his (and yes, I am Christian) but I can understand why some might be drawn toward those paintings. That discussion talks of isolation, I’m not sure that’s exactly it. It’s probably more to do with wanting someplace quiet, where you can rest for a little while with your loved ones. Heaven, perhaps, to some.
That commenter is not the only one who’s heard he’s a pretty unpleasant person either, but separating the artist from the art is something we all do from time to time.
I have one I might be convinced to part with. What are you wanting to offer?
