My friend tried to get that shirt for me a couple summers ago, but they sold out of the colour I wanted and then sent the wrong gryphon shrt. (They have several.) D:

I know about that anime, so I know yer not making it up- as I always say, “some things you just can’t make up”. It seriously weirds me out. 😯 I don’t understand why it supposedly had all these accolades.

I know it’s hard for you to come up with ETAs for this sort of thing, but I feel like I just gotta ask. I’m not too wild on the pearl coloured anythings and I really want those griffin chicks in brown. (DUCKILING GRIFFIES!) Do you have any idea when you’re going to sell them on eBay or the site in brown? Did you even start painting any? I’m counting me pennies! 😀
I had mine out last summer via IV Sedation. Went pretty smoothly, one minute I was waiting for the sedative to take effect and right after that they said “OK, we’re done!” XD Weirdest thing ever.
The days afterwards suck, though. The IV sedation made me a little sick to my stomach at times and there’s only so much food that was good to eat. (I tried to eat some leftover chicken that looked so tasty in the fridge about two days after and immediately regretted it.) I was emailing Melody still and she was preaching the wonders of Jell-O. So don’t be surprised if your mom tries to fill you with Jell-O. XD
Still, I’m not complaining. X)
I think I know I’ve made it as an online artist if my art started showing up as cross-stitch patterns on eBay.

Man, I hate it when people try to make money off of images they pull of the web and then print out onto sticker paper with their home printer. SO. CHEAP. Now Melody’s dragon from her print line is on a switchplate. D:

Thanks you guys! I’m sorta confused since some people like the eyes and don’t, but again, as I said, I think I squeaked by alright when attempting the task of pupiless eyes. 🙂
(I think a lavender dragon would go very well with Ski’s pink dragon, don’tchya think?)

The character has no pupils. It’s a pretty hard trait to work with, trust me, my best friend’s character is a black wolf with yellow eyes, no pupils. Before I always associated “no pupils” before with “evil” type characters (y’know, glowy slit eyed pupiless eyed villians) but I’ve gotten better with it over time.

I read the first dozen pages of this, but it got awfully drawn out and I had things to do and now that there’s 30 pages it’s kind of scaring me…what’s the record for longest thread ’round here, anyway?
I am a gryphon lover. That is one thing for certain.
But why does my mom, out of all the fantasy creatures, like what’s pretty much the opposite of a gryphon- unicorns?
Still, I love my mother. She’s frugal and doesn’t want to shell out all the money for a Windstone unicorn (although she shells out tons of money on jewelry- BLEH!) but I promised her I would paint a unicorn for her. Even though I’m not that good with paints.
I ask her, “what colour do you want him to be?”
And of course, she says white.
White? White? Don’t you know there’s tons of different horse breeds out there? Dozens of beautiful markings? You just want a standard unicorn and have it be WHITE? I could just paint the hooves, seal it, and say BOOM, here Mom!
But I don’t want to do that. She said maybe to make it pearlecent, which makes it a little more interesting, and I guess antiquing it with a really light gray will be an added challenge, but still, no fun, Mom, no fun. 🙁
From the looks of the PYOs I see in the gallery every day, it doesn’t seem like you guys have this problem, but I imagine it must’ve happened to somebody: Somebody wanted say, just a green dragon, no markings. Or a brown gryphon. That’s it. No fun. No challenge.
I’m just asking this question just so I have a reason for this ramble of mine. X)
