Yay! Got one today! So glad I checked my email Thanx to Susie! 😀
Arghhh! I can’t believe I missed them. Its my fault for not hovering around the store constantly and probably the best for my pocket book but le sighhhh soo prettty.
Hey Everyone~
I have a perfect Black Gold Emperor and I am letting him go for $175 w/box. Shipping will be $25 for this big boy. I thought I would like him more then I do, but in the end I would rather he be in a home where he is appreciated. I just don’t care for the color combo myself. If anything you could always resell him for more since it is way below store price. I also have a peacock emperor for $150 without his original box. I have a billion other things I need to pay for right now, so I am letting these guys go at great prices to loving homes. They are both in perfect condition no damage at all. Send me a message if interested and or want to see pictures. Cheers! 🙂
UPDATE: peacock emp has been SOLD and now BG Emperor is also sold! Thanks! :bye:
My heart goes out to you I am grieving too right now. I just lost my 5 month old Main Coon kitten Merlin Monday night. He had a leg sprain last Wednesday, but had appeared fine and doing alright until Monday when I came home to find him with his little head twisted to the side struggling to breath. We rushed him to the vet and after blood tests, x-rays and ultrasound it turned out one of his little lungs was partially collapsed and his heart was being pushed over to one side. They had to keep him in an oxygen chamber so he could breath and help stabalize him. The emergency vet though did not seem to think that the fall was the cause because that kind of damage would be like falling off a three story building and he had no broken bones and said our little kitten was a puzzle, but he was in a precarious position because it was unlikely due to his age and the type of damage that he would live through more tests and the inevitable surgery that would follow.
His theory was a genetic heart condition common in several breeds of cats, but rare in one so young (cardiomyopothy) since it can come on suddenly and involves a weak heart sometimes flooding the lungs with blood. We didn’t want him to die in the night alone, so we had him put to sleep and it was horrible because he fought it biting the tubing at one point. I still can’t get over it because he wasn’t ready to go, just a baby, but his little body was broken. My family is desolated. Since then researching the genetic heart thing I learned that one of the signs is a limping in the rear leg or legs caused by blood clots. We didn’t see him fall last week so it is likely he didn’t fall we just didn’t know until it was all too horribly late. 😥

That is so cooool! I love that show. Me and my brother watch it all the time. Even the re-run marathons. He is such a passionate individual when it comes to food. At first I thought he was just a jerk, but then when I started watching the show I realized how really caring he is about helping these different people and places. The only problem now is I can’t eat at a restaurant without analyzing everything about it and wondering what is going on in the kitchen! 😆
Hello fellow Windstonians 😀
I am doing an AIDS walk this year in honor of my father who passed away from AIDS. AIDS robbed me of ever getting to meet him or know him. Last year his brother tracked me down and I was reunited with family members I had never known. They had searched for me before his death, but couldn’t find me. They shared their stories and memories with me including the hard times toward the end of his fight with AIDS. I will never really get to know him or hear his voice. I can only get a glimpse of him from others memories. I am trying to raise $1000 before the walk in San Francisco July, 18th. I am asking for any donations or if you can’t give a donation please pass on this link to friends who might consider it. I am doing it totally paperless so it is environmentally friendly and it is a secure site set up by the the San Francisco AIDS Walk and it allows you to even pay via paypal if you wish! Thank You in advance to anyone who donates. I know times are hard for everyone, but compassionate people still must come together for causes that effect so many. :hi:
June 20, 2010 at 4:31 pm in reply to: Green, Violet, Blue Trio of Dragons Candlelamps in store! #818184Why is it whenever I am not trolling around in the store is when something cool comes up? le sighhhh. Oh Well ’tis probably for the best I really should be saving money 🙄 But hey I haven’t bought any new Windstones for at least a month! My last treasure was a pink lap from another forum user. Not buying one like every week takes some restraint on my part 😆 At least it will come up again as a production piece. 8)
Opps! I meant signed 😳
I haaaate to do this as the Gold Lap is probably my favorite, but I am in the throws of wedding planning and my dream dress is a bit over my budget so time to sell some goodies. I have probably only had her a month and she is in mint condition complete with tags, original box, and certificate stating that she is a limited production and signed. Soo what I am going to do is go by best offer. They are out of stock in the store so if you missed them here is your big chance! I will wait five days and who ever offers the most wins. PM me to bid! Thanks!
P.S. shipping will be dependent on where you are located but typically around $20
2 more left! Got mine! 😀

Happy Happy Birthday! 😀
Happy Birthday! 8)
