I’m so excited, looks like I will be getting my #1 fav GB Colt!!
The downside, I’m having to take money from my Japan funds pot to make this happen, so I will have to sell the GB Colt my friend got me. “Peacock/Cobalt” was listed in the classified ads trade category, but I have now moved him to sales. He is on eBay too, but for a higher price due to both theirs and Paypal’s fees.
Now I get to impatiently watch my mailbox again, yippee…:D
Supposedly they are just going to be $139 when they come out, but I have no clue how much the refill kits are going to be or how fast you blow through them. Still… it brings sculpting and drawing togther in a way that is just so new and interesting! I can’t wai to try it!
I’d love to try it too, just don;t have the funds right now. In the meantime, I’ve bookmarked the page…;)
I… MUST… OBTAIN…. THIS!
If you don’t mind me asking, how much does one cost?
Halloween – skeleton patterns on them (awesome) or like the colts we had with black/red/orange colors with bats or spiders on them (personally scared of spiders, but on a Windstone I can tolerate them, LOL) Hades and zombie eyes!
Gotta have some with black cats painted on them. My favorite thing about Halloween is black cat merchandise. When Halloween rolls around every year, I buy something of a black cat. It is sort of a tradition of mine…;)
Hades and zombie eyes would be awesome…:)
The GB Colt that I got from this last batch, Hollybug would fit in perfect with a Christmas theme.
I don’t understand their reply to you?! You asked about EMT shipping, which I am guessing your were planning to cover…:
Edit – Maybe I am missing reading things, EMT is a form of shipping right?!
No, it is a method of payment that goes directly between banks. It’s really easy and since it is instant (no middle-man) it is non-refundable. I find this sets a lot of people at ease. I guess they hadn’t heard of it either!
But yeah, I said I was planning to cover shipping also, lol.
Ah, I understand and I still don’t get why thew flew off the handle?! Maybe, their bank charges an arm and a leg if they use such a service?
Okay so. I found a good size lot of Windstones on Craigslist, but it was nowhere near me… So when the seller said they were available, I asked if they could ship. I suggested EMT because it’s non-refundable, as far as I know, so a lot of people are more comfortable with that.
I got this in response:
How do you people sleep at night ripping hard working honest people off. Glad I’m not you on judgment day, enjoy it why you can; if you can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I laughed a little. But I actually feel kinda bad, I hope I haven’t seriously ruined their faith in humanity or something.
Anyone had anything like this happen? I don’t think I’d feel comfortable making the transaction with them regardless anymore, but I’m wondering how I could at least make them feel better.

Pics of White Lightning, Rodney’s GB Colt have been sent…;)
I am pretty certain that even though these packages were scanned “delivered” – whenever it comes time to scan them again, they will be scanned with whatever that new status is – having been called “delivered” won’t stop subsequent scans from being accurate. In most cases the next stop will be another “delivered” scan when you receive the package.
My fox did not show any more scans after it was “delivered” to Corvallis. That agrees with my (maybe inaccurate) memory of another time when the same thing happened.
No new scans showed up on the tracking for Rodney’s and mine either. I think once a package is scanned as delivered that is it. Doesn’t matter though, our Foxes found there way to VA without a problem…;)
I sent pics of both GB Colts that I own. I’ll have to do a photo shot with Rodney’s GB Colt tomorrow. Hope the weather is just as nice…:D
Pics of Rodney’s GB Pebble Fennec Fox, “Tippy.”
Rodney got a baby Fuzzy too, cute…:)
Rodney’s Fox has a hint of golden brown on his body. I tried my best to capture the effect, you can see the coloring more in this pic here:
Rodney’s was a pain in the rump to photograph! Then again, so id Tippy’s owner. Just kidding, LOL!! 😀
That’s completely fine with me Pheonixxfox! 🙂
And just as a reminder for the future – there is no cut off date for submitting images to any of the galleries! You are more than welcome to send me images for past batches of any gallery that you see in my signature 🙂
Cool beans, I’m going to rephotograph all of them in more natural light. It can be kind of hard for me since I live in an apartment complex. Luckily, I am upstairs and I do have a balcony. The downside, it gets hit directly with sunlight for a good chunk of the day…:
SO cute! Love his name too, perfect, Congrats!
Thank you…:)
I’ve taken pics of mine, I call him Quicksilver:
Gorgeous! He’s a stunning fellow.
Thanks…:)
I wasn’t sure if I wanted a grey one to be honestly. After I removed the packing paper from Quicksilver, I instantly fell in love. He is a stunning piece and I can’t see any flaws. I also don’t think the bottom looks that bad, there are maybe four little spots of brownish paint, but that just gives him character.
I can’t wait to see what everyone else gets…:D
Mail just arrived and with it, both mine and Rodney’s GB Pebble Foxes…:D
