How’s this?
Not at all. In fact I am working on it right now.
I can give it a try, but it may look a little odd because the camera angle on the blue wolf is different than the angle on the pink and purple ones.
Forgive me for asking but how do you mean to try using the power on a base coat of paint?
I looked at the A.C. Moore I was at and they didn’t have any of the Liquitex brand irredescent paint in stock or believe me I would have gotten that. I’ll have to give Michael’s a try the next time I get over to Savannah.

Ok, on the Pearl Ex….are you only trying to mix it with paint in order to apply it?
Are the pearl ex you’re using the light colored, almost pearly white looking, powders with just a hint of the blue or violent color in them? These are not the ones I use if so. The Pearl Ex ones I use are the ones that are the vibrant green colors (also come in a bunch of other colors, including several shades of blues and purples). They don’t have the words ‘interference’ on the label. Here is a link to the ones I am talking about. I am using Spring Green and Duo green-yellow.
Drats, the ones I have are the ones you don’t use. Thanks for the advice anyway. I did mix it with the paint and you can see some of the color, but not vibrantly. I’m thinking of mixing some with my “gloss medium & varnish” to see if that will help bring the colors out more.
I got the interference powders because my art store didn’t have any interference paints. I was hoping someone on the forum would have seen/used them and would be able to give some tips.
UnicornLvr wrote:The blending of the green highlights in his black fur was done using Pearl Ex powdered pigment. Two shades of green pigment was used, one dark green and one a yellow green. I just got the Pearl Ex yesterday at Texas Art Supply. Noticed it as I was browsing and thought I’d try it. I really like the results and it’s fun to use!
I’ve got some of the Pearl Ex (powdered) pigments in Interference Blue and Interference Violet but I’m not really sure how to use the so the color shows up. I’m painting the interference over black and I mixed it in with some black paint, but you can barely see it. Any tips?
Oh and I forgot to say I love this Ki-Rin! Green and Yellow are two of my favorite colors.

😆 That made me thing of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls and their pets for some reason.
😆 I didn’t even think of that. Didn’t she have a cat named Pitter-Pat? I had a cat (a real one) named that once… I think that’s where it came from.
Strawberry Shortcake’s cat was Custard. Don’t remember a Pitter-Pat as any of the other pets either. Cheesecake, Pupcake, Sugarwoofer, Tea Time and Marza Panda are the names of the pets that went with the dolls I have in the top of my son’s closet.

Disney’s “Hercules” Hades says it when Pain and Panic trick Hercules into battling the Hydra. I’ve been watching a lot of animated movies again due to my toddler.

Two thumbs way up! (can anyone name the movie?)

You said you have photoshop yes? Go to Image -> Image Size and make the adjustments there. I would recommend using the pixel dimensions to adjust rather than the Document Size. Oh and make sure you have “Constrain Proportions” checked so it keeps the proportions of the image intact.
Man I haven’t read the comics since I stopped working at the newspaper in Sept. 2003. The comics page was one of my favorites to build. It took less than 10 minutes. I’ve always been partial to Garfield, but that could be due to the fact he premiered right around the time I was born in June 1978 so we are the same age.
Who knows, maybe since you bought so much they will get more Windstones in stock to tempt other people.
He certainly seems very nice in the emails I’ve just gotten from him.
Thanks GB. This will be his second deployment and it’s looking like it will be 15-18 months rather than 12 months like last time. The only thing we are looking forward to with it is the extra money we will be getting and using to pay off our bills.
I did a little too much “theraputic spending” last time so we only got my car paid off a few months early. I know what I did wrong last time, so I’ll try to do things different this time around. Especially since when he comes home from the deployment he will have fulfilled his contract with the army and we will need money to move on to civilian life.
