That is my favorite breed in all the world, and practically no one has ever heard of it. (Or can spell it.) 🙂 Akhal-Teke! They’re kind of weird — metallic coats, and conformation that’d make a judge cringe, but they’re THE endurance horses — they stopped outcrossing with Thoroughbreds to “improve” their speed and strength in 1935, when a race was set up from Ashkabad to Moscow (2600 miles, including 215 miles of desert with little to no water), and the purebreds did notably better than the Thoroughbred/Akhal Teke crosses! 🙂

Or black with yellow or green eyes — that would be awesome, too! (I just don’t like the white feet of the “black” unicorns, though, so either way: no socks please?)
I’d like to see some goat colors, too, like black/tan/white or black/white spotted!

Thank you very much :). Yep yep yep. Absolutely. They are retired in white, so I will need to paint then in some other colors. Fortunately, unlike the Kirins, these guys are easy to paint and look good in lots of different colors.

I don’t know why we do, but we do! For instance, I have never liked red. Never. I have distinct memories of building with Duplo blocks, and I would use all the other colors (in order of preference: blue, green, yellow) before I would resort to the red ones! I loathe pink, too, and I think that’s always been with me as well — I had a frilly party dress as a kid when I was in the “dress up” stage, but it was purple, and I can’t remember ever owning/liking any pink clothes, even back then.
I don’t think there’s one color favored above the rest by other people, though: I meet too many people who just *adore* the colors I loathe. (Please keep making pink dragons until I have the money to buy Ocean Blue ones?) 🙂 Or who love some color that makes me go, “wow, someone likes that? I’ve never even thought about it.”

I don’t know what Melody thinks, but what *I* think is: A coppery dragon that doesn’t involve pink? Yes, please! 🙂
I don’t know why — I’m such a Lap fan, usually — but when I was reading the description I automatically pictured it on the Scratcher. Which *would* be a great piece to use for test(s)! 🙂

Oh, wow, that is awesome! I love his fiery legs. 🙂 Maybe the black should trail farther down them, though? The reference image seems to have black “drips” down to his hocks.
I can hardly [i]wait[i] to see how his mane and face turn out when he’s all finished! I’ll have to send a link to my WoW-crazy friends. 🙂

I have no idea when the Amethyst Laps are going to come out — not even sure that they *are* going to come out! But I don’t care when it happens, I definitely don’t want to miss them.
Is there someone among the regular store-watchers who’s willing to pick up an Am Lap for me when they see them arrive? I’ll pay you back and pay for it to be shipped to me if you’re also ordering things at the time.

Yes, my first thought was spackling compound, too. 🙂 No mixing required, unlike plaster. Plus, y’know, the leftover can be used around the house to fill holes or chips in walls, whereas I don’t know what one might use leftover plaster of Paris for!
