On the scaly critters, it might have an even more opal like effect if the scales were done in patches of color instead of bands.  An excuse for another test paint?

The newest goes great with that emperor.  The globe could be obsidian also.  Pretty.

I’ve never brought up a wish list, but since we have the treasure trove of the century going on here, I thought I’d mention a few things.  (If anyone else has these items and is interested in selling or trading, let me know.  Also if you have them and they are in forever homes.)

          Oriental dragon in sugar plum

Oriental sun dragon Eclipse (raffle prize)

Male ki-rin in white with orange and black koi spots (raffle prize)

          Male griffin in violet hawk

most Griffins in hawk or leopard patterns that don’t have red eyes

          Ocelot griffin family

I also really liked the Griffins and the lap dragon in the labradorite, but I’m obviously not alone there.  I know they were hard to paint, but a very limited production run on those would be so cool.

Rylorien and Stormdancer.  I am sorry for your losses both recent and in the past.  It hurts to lose a furry friend.

Bayou dragon, I am terribly sorry for your loss.  It is a pain both emotional, mental, and physical.  I think sometimes, it is just not the right time.  I hope you recover well and swiftly and have a safe trip home.

I think the rainbow pastel would be pretty with a darker shade of one of the colors rather than black.

It’s SO COOL watching how the color schemes transfer from Dragon’s to the other pieces!!

I agree!  I actually think the Wild Troll is more fun on the unis than the dragons.

How about Char or Nocturne (Notty), or when my cat is really hyper I call him Spasmodeus (cause he’s a spastic little devil) (Spaz or Spazzy).

These are my 2 lovely ladies.  I really like them.  I am going to put them up in the trade ads, but because I really like them, I would be very picky and may not want to trade them at all.  However, if you are really interested don’t hesitate to ask.

Ok, so I’m finally getting around to putting my wolves on here.  I kinda went nuts with the wolves.  It was my first grab bag and I really liked them.  I had only intended to keep 2 because I wanted 1 silhouette and 1 leaf one, but oh well. Wolves back

I would love to see more orientals and ki-rins.  I know there have been production issues with these, but I really like them.  That being said, how about some PYO pebble animals?  I would love to paint a mountain scene on a mountain lion (cougar).

That scratcher looks fantastic!  Did you have any of the missing pieces, or did you totally rebuild his face?

Thanks.  I think a piece would have to be pretty badly damaged for me to want to totally repaint it rather than touch-up repair.  If that happened, I would probably do something pretty wild, and want to keep it myself anyway.  Other than the PYOs, I was mostly thinking about picking up some poor babies with minor damage (I don’t feel up to major damage), fixing them up, and using them as display pieces, with the possibility of finding them new homes.  I mostly do flat work (colored pencil and watercolor) and when I decide to start trying to do shows, I thought it might enhance my display to have some sculptural pieces for depth.  I think I would just write “repaired” on the felt.
