At least he is sleeping with them and not knocking them off the bookcase… Wanna trade cats? 😆
One big (and growing!) happy family, Koishii 😀
Ah, thanks so much Blackdesertwind! For the life of me I couldn’t remember which was the dark and which was the light green.
Alrightie, problem solved; now on to the fun part!
I’m on the verge of ordering my first PYO, the dragon. After seeing the complete awesome-ness wrought on these little guys by everyone else, I just can’t resist trying one for myself any longer!
I have the color scheme in mind, but have a question: of the color options for the stones on the dragon, which is more green, jonquil or olivine? There used to be a color guide for the stones on the “buy direct” page, but that has disappeared since the (lovely wonderful luv luv luv) online store has opened. Maybe it is still lurking about on the site somewhere, but I can’t find it.
Anyone who knows which stone is greener, I’d be much obliged if you’d share! Ooh, I’m getting all excited about painting this silly thing and I’ve not even ordered it yet… 😳 Gotta be careful not to get hooked!
July 11, 2007 at 6:38 am in reply to: My PYO Nightmare-Getting a Uni Nightmare to Pose for pic #598523Oh, wow! 😯 This little filly certainly demands your attention 😆 She’s great, can’t wait to see her all done!
Ooh, lovely 😀 He wears that emerald so well. Congrats! Good luck finding him a little hatching buddy.
Oh, I want to. Want to bad.
I talked long distance about it to my seven-year-old cousin (his papa is in the Navy and they live in Italy right now) and he was SO mad that he won’t be able to see it until it releases on the theater at the base 😆 It was so cute. He has like a thousand Transformers…
I remember when we went to visit last summer we went on a day trip to Rome and he was hanging Megatron out the window on the freeway. Gotta love the itty bitty fanboys.
Aww, thank you, PhoenixTears! That’s so nice of you! You really are all kinds of sweet 😉
At the moment the only piece I’m really looking for is an Oriental dragon in emerald (not jade, I think I’m the odd girl out who likes emeralds better) to match my little baby oriental. He is lonely. I could probably do $100 to $125 for it, maybe a little more. Box would be nice, tag is very good… minor scuffs or rubs, not such a big deal.
And meanwhile… is there any particular piece that YOU would like that we could be watching for?
Oh gosh, this is driving me crazy! I want an emerald Oriental so bad it’s maddening and they just keep popping up right when I have no money!
Good luck to everybody getting some of these rare pieces!
Oh, those are nice… I like how you’ve got a good mix of color. I’m too spastic to collect anything in one color 😆 I hope some other people post pics, too. I would, but many miles currently seperate me from my (very small) Oriental collection.
I picked the first choice, just because I know in my bones that no matter how many PYO’s appear, there will still be plenty of new productions pieces that come out too. That way everybody’s happy, and I myself can get my Windstone fix through the smaller and cheaper PYO’s while saving for the bigger production pieces 😀
Yes, please do toast the fuzzy little monsters. 😡 The only good spider is the spider that stays far, far away and eats other bugs; any that come close enough to get splattered to the compass points deserve what they get.
I hope your hand heals quickly!
I just love the unique way you color these babies! This one’s bright green eyes are exceptionally striking against the coloration of the body. Can’t wait for spring 😀
Alright, I got one. It didn’t happen to me (I’m pretty boring…) but to my closest guy friend when we were in middle school.
Me and Spencer were over at another friend’s house playing on her trampoline when he gave an exceptionally high jump, kicked his legs a little too hard, and his pants came down. While Brittney and I were laughing at him her little yappy dog jumped up on the trampoline and grabbed his pants, which were now around his ankles, and made him fall over. We laughed harder. This is where it gets good.
A chipmunk falls out of the tree over the trampoline and nails the poor kid right in the head. Britt’s big, buff dog comes flying onto the trampoline after it and slams into the parties already up there. Spencer (with his pants down), the little yappy dog, and the big buff dog all go tumbling off the trampoline, over the fence beside the trampoline, and into the swimming pool directly next to the fence.
The little dog got stitches, Spence had scratches like no other and a big ol’ bloody nose. The big dog limped away wet but intact. We never found the chipmunk. I think our parents wanted to get that on tape for America’s Funniest Home Videos… It was one of those freak things that’ll never happen again.
I wonder if that’s why they did it. Maybe they figure if it’s an older sculpt it’ll be less likely to be noticed as a rip-off. Or maybe I’m givin’ the copycats too much credit 😆
