Muses were the Greek goddesses of creativity and art. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muse has more infomation.
Generally Muse has come to mean a being that’s a source of creative inspiration. A lot of artists talk about their Muse, and some of them personify their personal inner source of ideas as a person or animal or totem of some sort.
Melody decided to personify her creative Muse as a whacked-out adorable little kiwi-thing. Which just incidentally is also a “test tile” for trying out painting methods, because it contains some of every texture found on windstones, including feathers, hair, scales, etc.
AKA, something excellent to paint on before one tries any of the other PYO’s 😀 Yep, the muse shall be the lab rat to test the waters of my painting skills (if any… 😉 )
Gorgeous! Beautiful collection 😀 Just curious, what is the difference between the two golds? Is one a bit darker or is that just my imagination?

Yes…he could be the poad version of the bunny… 😀
I wondered if anybody would get the “Tim” thing 😆 Luv Monty Python and the killer rabbit!!! Good thing it’s been made clear that Poads are benevolent…
Not too heavy, hopefully. The other kitties will tease her for being so plump 😆
Sweet! 😀 The baby oriental always did look spunky.
I would love to see the lavender eyes in person — they show up kind of grey on my monitor 🙄 Glad you like yours!
Oh, I really like the teal on his wings! It’s one of my favorite colors and it blends very nicely next to the blue and purple 🙂

Aren’t they?! 😀 I swear, I look at them and think “Guinea pig” immediately. Well, from the neck down.
Darn I need to get another Guinea pig…

Not to worry…poads are strong in the Force! 😀
Any predator foolish enough to try to make a meal of a poad will find himself being twirled around in mid-air… while the poad goes back to eating his pizza…
We had pizza for dinner… and the fresh-from-box Poad joined us… and my family had a war of words over whether he is cute or disturbing.
Now that I see him and that beak, he really does seem like he could nibble his way out of a scrap 😯 It’s always the silly-looking ones that get you when you least expect it. I might have to call him… Tim?
Welcome! I’m in love with your cute fluffy purple image there… it goes perfectly with the name “sugarpeep” 😀
Now that… is one lovely lady. Part of me hopes that the same person who won the Sun gets the Moon as well, but most of me hopes the wealth will be shared 😆 It’d be nice to have a picture of the pair of them, though.[/i]
Aww… they look good together. Too bad you can’t keep all three 🙁 Oh well, maybe when the next color comes out things will be better and you can begin to rebuild your clutter!
That’s a good point mimi… how do we keep the wolves, dragons, griffs and such from predating the Poads?! 😆 They do look kind of low down on the food chain…
Cats and Windstones all at once? Lucky! Your new fuzzy babe could be my cat’s twin… I almost wanted to call home and ask, “Mom, did James run away or anything since I’ve been on campus?” 😆
The OW is completely awesome… and the riser there next to the green emp is amazing 😯 I’ve never seen a riser in person so I didn’t know they were that big!
Congrats on everything!
Hmm… I’ve seen a lot of candles made from the mold of the chubbier dragon. They’re sold all the time at Wicks n’ Sticks.
