Now that I think about it, I’m not sure I would want something really crazy either. Maybe if it were limited to the color spectrum I like. Like blue, purple and green psychedelic would be ok. But lime green, pink, and neon orange would be kinda outa place. Maybe we could make color suggestions for our swapees?

More progress shots of the peregrine/kitty griff! I still have to do the chain, and I’m going to dry brush the dark fur/feathers with the lighter grey. I popped the eyes in to see how he would look. The two different colors on the inside of the feathers is totally what a peregrine’s wings look like!

I’m confidant enough with my painting to join this swap for the first time. That being said, I really don’t have an opinion on if we do a theme or not. I haven’t been involved with Windstones as long as others so I’m not sure what psychedelic mushroom means. Are we talking crazy colors in whatever fashion we choose?

I think it would be awesome to have some of the brindles with white feet/chests/faces. Our neighbor has a brindle mix with those kinds of white markings. Together with the brindle coloring, it makes a handsome dog!

Here’s my second! I was hoping to get a husky/GS mix and then a grey wolf, and my second is a grey wolf! Dark markings/shading on the face with lighter tan shading on the chest. Very nice! I can just picture him as a real wolf staring at me across the woods. Lovely golden eyes. Great job Melody!

Yay! Photobucket is being nice today. Here are some more pics. Like I said before, I don’t believe my guy is in the class photos. I like him, but I don’t LOVE him. I may trade him, it depends on what my other wolf looks like.

Here’s my little guy! I wanted one with lighter color on the neck and that is what arrived! He’s very nice looking. Grizzled comes to mind.
