ACK! I stayed up for the end of the Crocus Fledgie auction, and then went to bed shortly around 6… if I had known :cry:… less than an hour, not cool… *sigh*

I have a question tho…how do you make the photos appear so big in the thread, mine are always so small?In your case, you just have to delete “.th” near the end of the link (but keep the “.jpg”). That’s the part that tells it to show the thumbnail view instead of the full picture. 😉
😆 😆 Yesss… he can come work for me too. I can overlook a few minor flaws… and Hubby shouldn’t mind, he’ll finally have a gym partner 😆

I saved the actual pictures of all the old stuff, so if there’s any you want for personal use, lemme know. Heck, I even saved eggs (though I’m missing a few that didn’t seem to change)… I was really bored one night. 😆
I bet the polka dot one is the dinosaur. They got rid of the Yoshis, but now they’re dinos.

I’ve bought too many pieces to recall from Ebay… my overall experience has been very good. One shattered Emperor (due to the seller packing instead of the selling agent, who was the person I had talked to about proper packing), but I got a full refund with minimal fuss… and a PYO with some minor damage (I let it go after initial contact… I was too annoyed at the time to handle it well). I can’t complain with that record in oh… 6 years or so of Ebaying.
😥 Not cool! I see all my new dragons, but there’s no new two-headed dragon! There’s still fog on my scroll where Eiji & Oishi are supposed to be. I sure hope they get a sprite for them soon. Or at least return the old one. 😕
The new links are also longer, so they won’t fit as well into signatures… blah. Oh well.
Here are my new eggs, for now.
Some of the egg colors got changed slightly too… purple’s a little more pastel, gold’s creamier. Wonder why the bother.

Okay, listen, I’ll admit it. I had both of these things. 😆 It was a purple banana seat bike, the seat was white with a unicorn on it, and heaven help me I think it had rainbow tassels. The handlebar grips were white too. My temperature changing boots were rubber and purple too.
I don’t even like purple. 😆
YES! Ooh.. I forgot about the tassels, but yeah, white grips and multi-color tassels! Hmm… my boots were definitely rubbery, but I think mine were white. Same here. Though I haven’t gone to the trouble of getting any of the “magic paint” Fledglings… sparkles are nice, but I already have the production version by the time they come out. 🙄
I’ve loved fantasy creatures as long as I can remember… though truth be told, I leaned more towards unicorns and pegasi when I was young. Heck, two of my coolest possessions when really little were my purple unicorn banana-seat bike and my temperature-changing snow boots (when they got cold & wet, the unicorns showed up). As I’ve grown older, my preferences have changed more towards griffins and dragons. I attribute that somewhat to the books I’ve read… not many Hoofers in ’em. But then, I much prefer wolves to bunnies now too. 😎
When I first saw Windstones 18 yrs or so ago, I thought they were awesome (still do). So after drooling for a decade, I got one as soon as I could afford one myself. After that, my then-boyfriend indulged me and bought me Windstones every gift-giving occasion that came up. Now I can usually afford what I want, so I take advantage of it. 😈
I was 7 or 8 when I remember my school addressing that subject. I don’t recall exactly how they went about it though… I think they had a doll for anatomical reference, but no role-playing puppets (that’s creepy to me), and I think boys were separate from girls. But personally, I’d feel really weird about letting the school teach the kids about that without seeing their presentation first. *shrug* Like watching a movie to see if your young’un really should be watching it.

Nah, they’re good. It’s only some anime fans that are gonna even see the resemblance… and that kind of thing makes it more special to me (I’ve found I’m usually drawn more to pieces that remind me of something I love, even if completely unrelated). 😀
