I’m still hurting from it, and the fact that I had to take Khym to his Umm observation??? to see how he’s doing since his time in the NICU, and get any early intervention going if it’s needed.
Traditionally most of the Fairy Folk weren’t, that’s why you would guard the pretty human babies, because they’d come switch their ugly babies in the middle of the night for your pretty baby. Since they are obsessed with Pretty things and umm their babies really just weren’t pretty at all, just plain old FUGLY!!!

I went looking for a thread but couldn’t find it, where these were last discussed!! (I think that was the last time)So has anyone had the Fog Egg grow up yet? I think bu am not sure it’s also the one who’s hatchling hides in the back of a cave.
Khym’s first 24-48 hours were on Bottle, but he had a common Breast Latch Problem, and the nurses were awed that he had it on the Bottle, he’d roof his Tongue, so the Nipple would go under instead of on. Then he got sick and we changed our minds onto Breast for several reasons. He had no problem latching on when I was sitting up, it was in any other position, and man was he strong!!! 😯 So he got EBM instead, and then we discovered it made him sick, so back to formula for him!!

When I was trying to Nurse Khym just could not get into a good position when we were lying down, but that may have had more to do with him learning to latch and being so big already. 😕
Can I be the first to say “Ouch” 😆 (rembers to put bag over head while letting the baby look in the mirror. Dont want 7 years bad luck)
I hurt today because of this (I’m at work) but the Dog’s gonna like it better, because it will mean we can take her out to the Dog Park again. She’s afraid of the Dark so when it gets dark early that really sucks for her. Especially since there’s no lights down there.
So Jen how would I go about getting something made by you? I’m thinking kinda sorta Commissioned, but not too incredibly specific, and also a little more specific specific if that was needed. What I’m thinking about is maybe some sort of Necklace for Khym. I’ve been trying to find something but the closest things I find are rather Paltry and unappealing to me. At least when I look at your work I’m always thinking “That is something to keep and treasure”, and feel could be appropriate for a Boy.
