Both your PYO Gryphons look nice and I love the comparison shots of your PYO and the production Gryphon. They make a great pair.
Your wolf looks great and your dogs cute 🙂
I found the dragon the hardest, Gryphon second, then Kirin next, then the wolf. But I think it all depends on how ambitious or complex your paint job is for the sculpt since my dragon paint job was more complex and difficult than my wolf so I consider that the hardest to paint sculpt and the most time consuming.
They look great!
Did you use pastel on them, or acrylics? How did you get the circular patterns on Hart’s Afire’s coat?
I’m sure your wolves are coming along nicely, no need to rush them. I’d love to see pics of your dragon though 🙂

My favorite so far, dream keeper.

Posting my reply from another thread as an answer.

True vegetarians don’t eat meat, and meat includes fish (I’m very familiar with this, I’ve been a vegetarian for 11 years). The only variety within vegetarians (besides Vegans) are the difference between Lacto-ovo or Ovo Vegetarians (in which eating eggs is ok) and Lacto Vegetarians (who will not eat eggs or foods with eggs in the ingrediants). All of them aggree fish is a meat.
I try to nix these fallacies on Vegetrians before people assume them fact. Sorry that it makes the thread more educational than fun. Vegans are strict Vegetarians and do not eat fish. If you see a Vegan eating fish, they aren’t a Vegan, not even a Vegetarian. They just might like to call themselves that so they can justify wearing Birkenstocks 🙂 (sorry, a little insider joke 😳 )
As for gelatin, I don’t know about it being made out of horse’s hooves. I do know that part of it forms from boiling animal skin and bones so Vegans won’t eat it (I’m a Vegetarian and I don’t eat it either).
I’m going to have to ditto the cute comments 🙂
Congrats Spark, I’m sure it will look great and I can’t wait to see the finished results.
Welcome and your wolf is coming along nicely 🙂

I mean… it’s very pretty, but it doesn’t really look much like a zebra to me.
Hehe, what bugs you about the piece is the part I like best!
I like that the artist airbrushed the stripes because sharp-edged stripes on this Kirin would probably remind me of the detailing on a motorcycle. Also, I interpret the pattern as being inpired by a Zebra, not that the artist was literally trying to copy one so the soft edges are acceptable to me. Plus, the softened Zebra stripes makes the paint job feel more surreal and magical to me.
However, I agree with some of the forum members that it looks unfinished. That’s driving me a bit nuts. Still, overall, I think it is rather nice looking. Like I wish for everyone’s PYOs, I hope it does well on Ebay.
Congrats Nam and whoever the new owner is. The Gryphon is beautiful and I hope its going to a great home.

No, just selfsufficient 😀
Ski, your poems are really fun. Who needs a table top when you have forum members to tell your ditties to 🙂
LOL, so cute!
Happy Birthday!
