WOOHOO white curlies horray my army is being built, watch out fledie armies, MWAHAHAHHAA<——evil laugh 😆 .
😆 I would just like to point out that your army of curlies will be a barely awake army (only one eye open right?) On the other hand, our flegling armies are wide awake and ready to take on the world! 😆 😈
I’d love to see a small dragon in warm colors, orange and yellow maybe?… with the same pattern that you’ve been using on the others so far, the wavy lines on the wings.
I’ve just seen your frog dragon on ebay and I love it, in fact I love all three dragons you’ve put up on ebay so far! Can’t wait to see the next one!
So CUTE! Anyone who says that they don’t like the pose has GOT to see them in person! Well except for Vantid, she has seen them and still doesn’t like them… Oh well! More for me!
littleironhorse wrote:Good for you 😀 Unfortunately, living as far as I do, I never get these guys quickly! I have learned to be patient 😉 If it was shipped on last Friday, I might, if I’m very lucky, get him next Friday. But most likely, I’ll get him around Wednesday January 24th.
Both my fledglings (brown and green) got here today! This has got to be a record time delivery for me! Yay! Even better, I didn’t have to pay taxes on them…*contented sigh* It’s been a great day all around!

F’murr used the Petit Prince in one of his comics (don’t remember the title – there’s a whole series).
There’s an example.
http://www.amazon.ca/gp/reader/2205008927/ref=sib_dp_pt/701-6498546-3696332#reader-pageI didn’t know they had done a movie! My cassette was someone reading the book – I guess it’s called an audio-book nowadays…
I know, I remember the book. Unfortunately, when I moved out on my own, I sold all my childhood books because I didn’t have any space for them 😥 I so regret doing that!
And yes it was made into an animated movie, what was really nice about it is that the illustrators drew him, and all other characters and scenery, exactly like in the book and the movie was mainly narrated, exactly like the book! Sort of like “L’homme qui plantait des arbres” by Frederic Bach, did you ever see that one?

You crack me up. Get the English version. However, it’s cute, but I’m not sure kids under 10 will really get anything out of it. I think it was meant for adults too. It’s one of those many-leveled stories. It’s been too long since I’ve heard/read it.
I don’t know… I think it’s good for all ages. Everyone should read this book! Kids and adults alike.
A cassette? do you mean just voice? Because it was made into a movie… No show, you’re right. The movie was really well done though. Such a beautiful story!
Greater Basilisk wrote:Insurance is optional, and even so, $110 with S&H isn’t a bad price.
True, but it kind of puts the buyer in a bad position… either you overpay for insurance, or you just risk it without insurance, but if something happens you don’t have any recourse.
What I’d be afraid of, is if you were to use those photos yourself later on, would people think that you’re the one who’s using someone else’s work.
And what if you want to sell that beautiful kirin? Would buyers think you’re copying her work? I find it to be very touchy.
And also, what if her paint jobs are not up to your standards? Will buyers associate your name with hers in the future?
I understand about offering support to another artist, but it’s not worth your own reputation!
dragonmedley!!!!! That quote in your signature “dessine-moi un mouton” what show was it from???
I read it and I got such a flash back feeling, I can even hear it in my head, the exact tone of voice of the character who said that, it was in a kids show wasn’t it?
It wasn’t “Le Petit Prince” was it?

What is the LJ? Is it open to anyone? ETC.
Its the Windstone Editions Live Journal: http://community.livejournal.com/windstone_ed/
Although, I must say that’s it’s been extremely quiet ever since the forum started.
Lokie wrote:Hey, that is the one I won! I loved the dark coloring on him, although I haven’t paid for it yet because I’m trying to come up with a nice way to tell the seller how to properly pack it without seeming pushy. Any suggestions? It will be insured, but I want really want the Gryphon intact, not the insurance money if it breaks 🙁
Okay, first: Congrats! I hadn’t wanted to post him here because I only saw him after he was sold, I didn’t know it was won by a forum member and didn’t want to taunt anyone with him 😆
Second: Just ask strait out how you want it done… You’ve won this item, it is now your property so if your request is reasonable there is no cause for the seller to refuse or to take offense.
That’s the way I always do it, just a polite note describing how I want it shipped and I’ve never had a refusal yet, and all my items have arrived safely! Although, unless I don’t have the time, I usually check with the seller before bidding if they will agree to ship to my specifications.
Hey! I’ve even done the same thing when buying or trading with forum members 😆 Better safe than sorry!
Greater Basilisk wrote:This gallery pic has a stripy-winged male in the back. I think the one on E-Bay is plain-winged, but I wouldn’t know.
Absolutely right… The one from the gallery picture is a little hard to see, but here is a really good example of a stripey winged griffin, and a really good bargain to the buyer who got him!
You know the female griffins and the chicks are supposed to be regular production right? So even if they come out tomorrow, you don’t have to buy them right away.
purpledoggy wrote:Blah, they don’t take paypal and they can’t give me a shipping quote unless I give them my full address. They also want payment by western union so I don’t think I will bid on this guy 🙁
That’s absolutely untrue (not your comment, but this seller’s claim). All you need for a shipping quote from Canada to the US, besides package weight and size, is the sender’s postal code and the buyer’s zip code!
