I’m late to the party, but this is my clutter. Since the specials and the beans were unique to the Kickstarter, that’s where my monies went. I even had to cut back on what I’d originally wanted and sell a few pieces I hadn’t wanted to just to get these pretties. My pics are terrible especially of the minis–by the time I get home from work most of the light is gone this time of the year–so I also am posting their pre-shipping pic too. It shows the minis’ patterns a lot better though the colors are a little washed out due to the fluorescent lights (my pics are outside and darker than their actual colors). I loooooove my blue/purple/silver butterfly bean the most, and I am stoked about my special adults! I like my special baby and she matches the clutter well, but I might be open to potentially trading for a different special baby that is more appealing to me (a slim chance, I know, since most people picked their favorites directly, but you never know!).
I love it. Something about this group is soothing to me.

I plan to do a regular production “pebble poad” that is a bit heavier than the bean. The problem with the beans is that the airbrush blows them off of the painting wheel! (Poad is a trade mark of M. Pena. I hate putting the “tm” after every Poad word.)
Blowing off??? Maybe it’s time to go in the other direction and make a MEGAPOAD, looking the Secret Keeper right in the eyes. lol
Yes, that’s what we need – Garden Poads! Or maybe not … can you imagine the shipping for that girl?
Since the Poad shape is so… rotund, it probably would take a lot more material to make one Secret Keeper height. You’ll need a crane to move it in the garden.
So maybe a MegaPoad just double the size of the adult? 😛

I have a solution, if Melody decides she wants to keep doing bean Poads even after the KS, but still keep the KS bean Poads ‘exclusive’, she could make the Bean Poad sculpt slightly different! Have it in a different pose, it’s head turned to the side or something like that. That way there will still be the exclusive KS Bean Poads, and then a production or pyo Bean Poad that is clearly different than the KS one. That is, if Melody even wants to continue doing bean Poads at all after this. Frankly, I think a bean baby Sloat would also be awesome, if Melody wanted to do a Bean series xD
I was wondering how else a Poad could be posed, though. They’re so blobby, would different poses actually look so different? LOL

I don’t listen to podcasts yet, as I haven’t figured out how to stick stuff on my iPod (it’s old and something’s wrong wth it), but I do run comedy playlists on youtube when I am painting. Right now I am listening to Comedy Central’s “This is Not Happening.” It’s story style stand-up. The comedian tells only one long story. Some of the comedians are not that great, but some are fantastic and I admire how those ones are crafted. It’s similar to The Moth Radio Hour, which I just looked up also releases as a podcast, but more raunchy. I do enjoy The Moth too.
