ARGH. Is there a set date they plan on moving by? I don’t want to go to Oregon -_- but I do want to visit the factory…I wonder how mad my BF would be if I went to the factory intsead of going to see him… hmmm…
That is definately something to look forward to!
Anyone out there interested in going to the factory with me some time in the future?! ^^
Although it’ll be a while, gotta save enough money for the trip there to start with

I’m sure I would! I’ve already got plans to go to Florida in January to go see the BF, so I’m saving up for that at the moment. Maybe the Windstone Factory will be my next vacation ^^ though I’d think it’d be more fun to go with a group of people, or atleast one or two other people

I started out seasonal about three years ago ^^ I worked unloading the truck, then they started moving the hours around trying to find a time that they liked…they wound up changing it to 4am…I was NOT getting up that early. Well my designated department to put merchandise out in was the accessories/jewelry department, and the supervisor just LOVED me for some reason, so she pulled me to the jewelry department when I told them I didn’t want to work truck anymore. And I’ve been in Jewelry for about a year and a half or so. Love jewelry, working in that department though has been killer on my wallet =

Ha! I remember that. I used to rip the perforated parts off the paper because I liked making caterpillars with them ^^ folding them over and over so that they were all crimped.
Okay. Visiting the factory sounds so awesome. Were you invited personally to go? or is anyone invited to go? who would you talk to to schedule some tour time? 🙂
I miss having a cat. My cat, Miss Kitty, died this year. She was 16 years old. It doesn’t feel right not having a cat around the house. I have a bunny….but it’s just not the same. And I miss my kitty.

I paid about $400 for the curio. Check with a furniture store. A good store is negotiable and we picked up the curio ourselves tonight.
Corner Curios are more expensive than wall curios.
I am thrilled with the curio…..
Ohh and for those mentioning the Peacock OW….I am Peacocked out…..no Peacock OW for me….maybe another LE but I am not spending any money on a Peacock….for 20 years…peacocks were the thing…
Well I may end up selling mine. I bought a White OW, pink curlie, and some PYO’s from Windstone, but I messed up on Paypal…instead of it being charged to my credit it was charged to my bank account…and the bank’s charging me fees because I don’t have the money in the account until this Friday…crappy crappy I’ll decide how much extra I owe and if it’s neccessary to sell the peacock OW.
