I’d done the same thing–poor puppy! 🙁 You hate to go back on your word but it isn’t like you decided you weren’t interested anymore! Things happen. :scratch:
I have my deck as well and they did a beautiful job putting this together! 😮 I noticed on nam’s website there is also another deck but it isn’t a Limited Edition. Didn’t know that and will probably get that as well! 🙂
WHAT TO WEAR AT AN IRS AUDIT
A man, called to testify at the IRS, asked his accountant for advice on what to wear.
“Wear your shabbiest clothing. Let him think you are a pauper.”
Then he asked his lawyer the same question, but got the opposite advice, “Do not let them intimidate you. Wear your most elegant suit and tie.”
Confused, the man went to his pastor, told him of the conflicting advice, and requested some resolution of the dilemma.
“Let me tell you a story,” replied the pastor.
“A woman, about to be married, asked her mother what to wear on her wedding night.”
“Wear a heavy, long, flannel nightgown that goes right up to your neck.”
But when she asked her best friend, she got conflicting advice, “Wear your most sexy negligee, with a V neck right down to your navel.”
The man protested: “What does all this have to do with my problem with the IRS?”
No matter what you wear, you are going to get screwed.”

I like the fledglies–I think they have the sweetest look on their face! I have one in black gold (new here and just getting started) and missed the amethyst. When they get more of the fledglies in amethyst, I hope to get one! Would mind having these babies in all colors but then it’s fun to hunt for them! 🙂
Congradulations, Maplecarver, on your purchases! I was there yesterday and picked up a Black Gold Fledgling but he wasn’t chipped. He is cute! Aren’t those prices amazing! I mean, Windstones for 50% off! I did damage myself and have to now start paying all this off! Hopefully, I won’t lose my job for the next few months!
Talk about stores closing in the San Jose area–there is a store that sells Windsones that had 2 stores, in 2 separate shopping malls. Well, the one mall got to be expensive so that now their lease is up, they are closing this store and moving inventory to the remaining one. I went in there today because they had 50% off on Windstones and the person there said she wasn’t sure what management has planned. They were thinking of another location but haven’t heard anything yet. I was told to call back towards the end of the month and they would know more then.
I told another forum member of this sale and she bought things via phone and put them on her card. I went in to pick them up for her since she lives across the country. She asked the store manager about would they be carrying more Windstones and he made the comment that they were hard to come by. She then told him that Windstone had just moved from California to Oregon and are starting production again in which he answered that was good to know! So who knows–we may still have a Windstone distributor in our area because it appears they didn’t know about Windstones’ move. I hope I got all this right!
I’ll keep everyone posted when I make that call. I hope they’ll still be around because there are some really nice people there to do business with!
