π π π I did a quick calculation today. I started in Septmeber with five random pieces. I now have 33 – I collected 28 in 5 months. I’m buying an average of almost six pieces each month! π―
That must mean I’m the real oddball. Since I joined I’ve only bought one PYO and that’s it. My collection is the same size as it was before hand.
Please give me some of your self-discipline, pegasi! (Unless it means a hubby with a tight hand on the checkbook… π )
HA HA HA!!! Same here! So far the BF doesn’t seem to realize how many “larger” Windstones have entered the house… so far just the Hippogryph Candlelamp, mother Gryph… and Young Unicorn at some point… the others are all smaller (EmPea Coiled and PYOs) but still! π
Then you count the horses… and… to think we just moved! π
Greater Basilisk wrote:A talent for collecting, you mean? Because Ruff didn’t make those; she just bought them. And you be warned – if you’re not already buying Windstone, you will be within weeks of having joined this community.
It’s not just contagious… it’s a disease! My god it’s scary! π I’ve purchased more Windstones (NOT counting the PYOs and they are the reason I joined!!!) than I had in the 10 years leading up to joining…. GAH!!!!
You people are horrible!
And I love it! π
BTW… LOVE the dragons! ::snatches the Ki-Rin Family while everyone is distracted and runs off::

I think I just melted a little! So glad they are regular production! We love you Melody!! <3 π
Yeah that… totally…
Oh man I can dream wonderful dreams of gorgeous Gryphons now!!!

You did such a good job. Maybe i’ll send you some dragons to paint eh. πThanks! π I’d be happy to paint some dragons (once I get moved and settled.) though I’m more used to horses… dragons are still uncharted territory for me! π
Watergazer wrote:Well, the difference is I do artwork full-time and currently don’t yet have a chilren’s illustration gig this year yet.
There again… so envious of you!!! π I’d love to be able to do my artwork 5 days a week… GAH!!!
One day… when my engineer fiance is pulling in 100 thousand a year… I’ll stay at home to raise the kids… and do artwork.
Yes kids will hamper the artwork… but there will still be time for it. π
Watergazer wrote:Unfortunately I’m behind by at least 2 or 3 painted pieces because of feeling sick, otherwise I’d have more done and can do some of the more detailed pieces I’ve been planning and finish the siamese set I talked about.
Yipes! I hope you’re feeling better soon!! I know how taht can effect your drive. π―

S she paints for a straght half a year and then doesn’t for half a year.
I LOVE her work… DROOL! A friend of mine recently sent me an autographed card by her… Gotta frame it. π I just love the feel and color of her pieces… π gorgeous!
DragonsCavern wrote:I dont know how they CAN “DO” it, putting out all those a day. I WISH I COULD! Oh….forgot I got a FULL-TIME job π π πΏ , I wish I could just stay home and paint my PYO’s! **Stomps feet** π
