I really DO want an OW, but I really want a Black and Gold one >.> Even though Melody doesn’t know when she’ll make any in BG… I’m spoiled with just the idea of the black and golds. I think that coloration on the dragons is stunning. I’m picky when it comes to spending money 😆 A bad trait? xD
My birthday is not till the end of the month (Anime Expo’s first day is on my bday!) but a long time friend of mine told me on Sunday when I was talking about not having any more room on the shelves for a Whelan dragon that is coming in the mail and that I’d some how have to make room for him, he told me I need to make even MORE room soon… I of course asked “why” and he said because I’ll be needed a big space for a big dragon. Again, “why”, and he said “your birthday!”.
Sooo my only conclusion is a Windstone! He knows the only dragons I really collect are Whelan’s and Windstones. He also knows I’ve been dying for a Black and Gold Scratcher forever. But knowing him, he might just buy me an Emperor o__o So we’ll see!
But now my dilemma! I FINALLY got a credit card! Just last week. No, I’m not going to go splurge or anything, and I don’t want to keep a charge on it for longer then a month (really I only got it to build my credit!)… but I do have 0% APR for my first six billing cycles… so I’d like to get a large Windstone in there somewhere so I can pay it off within two payments or so and not have to worry about the apr right now. BUT. I have no idea what statue my friend would buy for me, so I don’t want to buy any of them until I know! D: So I’m kinda… anxious xD I however am very patient so I won’t have a problem waiting… but still.
I still have a long while to wait before I know for sure though! It’s not fair 😆 I almost thought about buying a gryphon male, or chick. But I’m not really a fan of the gryphons in general… and I’m not really fond of the new wolf color (too much brown for my tastes?). But I’m the kind of guy that if something is only $50, like the chick, I don’t feel the need to use a CC… so I’m really in a bunch! XD
UPDATE!
So today, my friend came to visit me at one of my jobs. In short, we called some stores said to have WS in our area, and only one actually had a good amount of them and the dragons (we will be going on an adventure there soon enough). BUT ANYWAY. We were browsing photos of the BG dragons and he told me I could “put the Lap dragon on your CC” and I asked if there was any particular reason, and he said “because he’s not the one I bought for you lol!!”
So I AM getting a Windstone from him for my birthday! Yay! He said he’ll be giving it to me on the 27th, since I’ll be leaving for the expo the 28th and won’t be in state! Only 19 more days X3 Also guess I’ll be buying the BG Lap for the CC.I kept my first… my purple ki-rin boy 😀 But of course, I also designed him FOR me so why wouldn’t I keep him? He’s staring at me right now xD
I haven’t sold any PYO because I feel my skill isn’t something worth trying to sell… That and I only painted 3, one for me, one for a friend, and one for the swap (and a 4th never finished).
You could, like GB said, put a reserve on the auction if you list it on ebay. Or offer it up in the flea market? That way you don’t have to sell if you don’t feel you get a good enough offer?

Yeah, he’s a large one. If you want to give them a call, I would appreciate it… but I know that it will more-than-likely be out of my price range 🙁

Our Tow vehicle, for the cars is a Dodge 3500 single rear wheel, Cummins diesel, 4×4 Laramie. It is white and it is a monster truck. 🙂 We don’t usually mention it because it is a vehicle used to pull car trailers….but you would probably love it. My husband sells Dodge vehicles….
Man I love those things! I love huge trucks in general, but those big diesel guys are my love. When and if I finally do get one (one day!), it’ll probably be black 😀

Here are some photos. It’s a shame too, I really wanted him, and still want one. I can never find them (the large ones, at least. And if I do they are out of my price range) and I finally win one and this happens. I glued his one big wing chunk back on, but that was it- Fixing statues isn’t for me 😥

I also didn’t know you did commissions! 😀What i do..for instance to get Aqua interference: I take blue and green golden brand interference and mix them with my brush, then i add just a little Pearl Turqoise to it and mix with my brush..it gives the apearance of interference.
for pink i used red and orange interference and added pearl pink coloring.and yes. i do commisions. 🙂 feeds the addiction.

You have a massive collection WolfLodge! *envy* o.o Yay Whelen dragons! My collection of them is growing faster than my windstones 😯 I have 5 large Whelen dragons and one mini one.
I was the bidder for that auction for days. I then get an email saying my bid has been canceled 😕 If you don’t want to sell it, or for that price, don’t put it up!
