The Barn Swallow Riser is awe-soooommeee! e.e *squees*
Heh. I tried all that weird stuff in an attempt to get the smoke smell out of a piece I bought off ebay right after I started collecting. Nothing worked.
So, I just set him on my dresser, which is right under a fan, and kept the windows open during nice weather. You’d never know he was from a smoking house now. It just takes time and some fresh air.
I chose the mother dragon for Pink Flamingo as she has that incredibly elegant shape to her, similar to that of a real Flamingo. And iIf I didn’t add the orange, it would not have been Pink Flamingo. No black, no Pink Flamingo. She’d have been Pink Blob. And that wouldn’t have been right, nor an attractive title for an ebay piece. 😉
And I dig the color scheme; despite not being a big fan of pink. But when you add orange, neat things happen.
Your quote sig looks oddly familiar. >.>

Just remember that once you start stripping a piece – you MUST finish or it will look a ton worse than a little dulled detail – painting over half stripped sculpts makes for some very obvious lines, like peeling skin 🙁 its not pretty!
I’ll second that. I go over the pieces I strip with a fine-toothed comb. I use a dental tool to get out any tiny little bits in the cracks that may have been left behind…and after I basecoat it, I go over it again, because some things just don’t show up until you get some paint on them.

I love doing the swaps. =D *emails*
Heh, he doesn’t even have his tag, either. >.> I’d be tempted to sell mine too, if Ruby wasn’t the only color I like the Sun Dragon in. XD

Man, I’m kinda sorry I missed this batch. They look to be the prettiest yet!
Well, I never was any good at reading signatures. >.> I couldn’t tell if it was a P or an R…and when Pam said that, I just assumed she was implying it was her. o_o
Heehee. I thought it might have been you. @ Pam
She’s beautiful! <3
Love the Black Sea mother kirin. Who’s the painter? o.o
