How many of you are just collecting Retired, LP, LE?
Ohhhhhhh! So Cute! I am busy indulging myself with Royal hatchers at the moment….
But I would really like an Emerald Mouse Wizard in the future…..
Soo Cute.. Congrats!
Dave, you crack me up! I am right there with you. I have a huge collection of Anne McCaffery books. Pretty much everything in hard back, book club, paperback and multiple duplicates. Whelan Prints..some bought in your store by my brother Sean.
I agree..I wouldn’t hesitate to own multiple items if it suited me…
I do want to let collectors know that on the Hatching Dinos and Baby Dinos…there are alot of differences. I had a collection of duplicates and all the dinos were different.
Different interference paints, highlights and colors. They were subtle, but I admit I compared closely before I picked the one I wanted….
Congrats on your White and Brown Old Warriors and Pink Curl. I know how you feel!
Any of you that want a White OW get him…if you like White, you will not be disappointed! Here is mine and I am thrilled I got one…
If you got the cash…it is a free market economy. I have had more than one of a sculpture. I really didn’t count on that happening, and I usually sell them or trade them in the flea market section.
I haven’t needed to sell anything like that on ebay…
But like Ski said…If I got a Special piece for $1000 and the same thing came up for $500 then, I might buy it and sell later to defray the cost of the first piece…say sell for $750 if it was worth it.

He is my favorite! I want all the OW I can afford. They are my favorite…though I love curlies, fledgies and eggs also….
I am simply addicted!!!!
September 29, 2007 at 3:30 am in reply to: Do You Have Insurance on Your Windstones / Collectibles? #621838We have some cars that we have special insurance on and the company American Collectors Insurance has coverage for regular collectibles..
I have a lot of collectible car models and some signed memorabilia from some Le Mans race car drivers, and then I have my Windstones. I started a database on the estimated value to replace each piece and I was shocked to discover the value of my collection.
The question is..do you insure your Windstones? Regular insurance won’t cover a large collection or jewelry.
If you insure your collectibles, who do you use?
I hope this is an informative topic and here is a link to the people who do our collectible cars…
I am seriously thinking I need to get a policy…and it includes accidental breakage….

I want all the curls that come out…LOL
Meee tooo…I have all the coiled/curled and I wouldn’t be able to pass one up even if you painted it pea green…..
If curlies are easy to produce…you ought to paint any color you can think of….I hate to say it, but I would fork out $50 a week to obtain any new curlie color……
It is a great deal for Windstone…because you are going to sell a whole bunch….great for marketing…

Ohh…the Griffins are my newest addition…and the papa is on his way. 😀
Did you get the Black Male Griffin repaired?

I noticed that too…special pieces, incredibly high prices…multiple purchases of the same pieces…
2 Scratchers, 2 OW’s plus $455 on the Coiled Emerald Female…
I have spent a lot of money lately…but I am not going to continue a bidding war with this buyer…plus shipping and taxes/fees to ship overseas…whew…they have a bigger wallet than me 🙂
Seems like they are spending alot, but then I paid $250 for a Triceratops…hehehehe

Does the Emerald Fledgling have his butt chipped? o.o
That is wild…I hadn’t noticed. It is the flash reflection….I assure you his butt is intact…hehehehe.
I actually went and checked him though….
September 29, 2007 at 12:54 am in reply to: Trade Gloss Finish Black Gold Lap for Matte/Satin Finish? #621549Mine is matte black, but it matches my Emperor, my Scratcher and my Black Emerald Peacock Old Warrior….
It is weird but the picture flash makes them look glossy….
Dracomancer wrote:mmm yay i have alot of rubies too lol
I have the ones I absolutely had to have….and I am not suprised since they haven’t made any new ones on the Oriental, Old Warrior, Fledgie….etc…
Thanks for letting everyone know!
Yes, Welcome and congrats on getting the pieces you wanted.
Hope you enjoy the pictures and get an idea of colors with these pictures…
I almost have them all…I need the Peacock Kinglet and the White Emperor and White Empress…
Here are my Old Warriors…I still need to buy the Gold and Emerald Peacock…maybe in a month or two 🙂
And who can leave out the Fledgies…I still need the Emerald Peacock…
