was anyone hurt?
From what I heard, a car wrecked and the Postal rig hit the car, then bounced off the guard rail. They didn’t say their were any fatalities. So I am assuming everyone was okay.
After the rig hit the guard rail, which is cement, the cab cought on fire and then the trailer. It closed the interstate for many hours because the flames were so hot the trailer fell apart when they tried to move it. I was on a high rise section of interstate over water.

You can’t change your mom, you can only live with it, cut her out of the picture, ignore her or set limits on how aften you communicate with her.
I am glad Danny is standing up for you! You don’t let her make you feel bad! You have too many good things in your life to let her make you miserable.
Congrats again on the new baby!
January 22, 2008 at 11:54 pm in reply to: Warning: Windstones Shipped US Mail through New Orleans #658677I wanted to let everyone know that a Semi tractor trailer for the US Postal Service was in an accident this morning on I 10 right outside of New Orleans.
This truck completely burned with all the mail and parcels it was carrying. It was entering New Orleans from the West.
The postal service here let people know to contact them if they don’t get their mail…but said they would not necessarily be able to tell what exactly was on the truck.
So if you sent a Windstone or something else recently, that may have had to pass through New Orleans, keep a look out! I know I am waiting on an item to come via post office….hopefully my hatching tortoise wasn’t on that rig!
Congrats!!!!!! She is gorgeous!!!
I have about that much and I am paying $175 a year for 20k in insurance through American Collectors Insurance. We have 4 collector cars through them. Much cheaper than regular insurance and the policy is stated value. So If one on my Windstones gets broken by the cat $100 deductible and they pay current value of the piece. If my home gets wiped out in a hurricane, they cover the whole collection.

To get insurance you will have to talk to an agent. Initially they denied my online application. They were thrilled to write the policy after I explained what I have.
I display Old Warriors, Spectrals, Curls, Fledgies, Hatchers, Royal Hatchers, Wizards in groups together.
Hoofers, Griffins, Oriental Dragons, Castles, Dinosaurs, (Mother, Father, Laps, Scratchers, Young) go in family groups. My Gargoyles and candlelamps are scattered about.
It really looks very strange. If it was a Peacock the price would be right. How do we know?
Congrats! I know it is a lot of money, but they give so much love in return!!!! Hope everything goes okay! Keep us updated!
