Some place in Alaska just hit -80F (not including windchill) the other night. Coldest on record for the US. I think they couldn’t get the actual reading though, because the measurement device being used stopped at about -80F, presumably because the battery froze. :O
That should make everyone feel just a little bit toastier! 8)
and this is how I feel better about possible two feet of snow over the weekend (A weekend that was supposed to have lots of fun things to do for my bf n I, since we didn’t go out dancing last weekend and I was up north the two weekends prior to that, so that’s what I’m most bummed about! lol)
I need to get myself hooked up with a Paypal instead of always borrowing my dads (I hadn’t used it much before… things are going to change, I think ;p haha)
I don’t know how quick and easy paypal is from the store here, but the thing I can say was really nice about gift certs is there wasn’t a payment method step that slowed me up. The disadvantage, I have $100 still I can’t touch till something comes up in the store – They’re not usable toward ebay and when you get great offers like I have from other forum members…
My big prob is, now 99% of what I want that isn’t a PYO isn’t going to restock until horn issues get figured out (Lap, Scratching and Uni’s)Well Colorado has mostly been ditching the bad weather of late… it was like 63 deg F the other day, and has stayed in the mid to high 50’s for quite a while…
But, Colorado being Colorado… they’re predicting 12-24″ of snow over the next couple of days. You would never guess it by looking outside right now, it looks pretty nice, a chill but not too cold 44deg F and sunny… but at my bfs place here, we’ll know the moment it comes off that mountain!
If the plains are gettin nailed like this, the mountains are going to have some fun! o.o lol

Oh Mom is this a happy but dreaded moment. I am so freaked for my oldest son to start dating. I just keep saying……..NOT TILL YOUR 16 LOL Exciting and frightening.
That is our rule as well – no dating until you’re 16… Hard to believe that they are nearly 16 1/2, that they can legally drive themselves somewhere without me and that I’m rapidly becoming the shorty in the family (I’m 5′ 10″) Luckily they’re good kids!

My bfs boy is going to be a lil romeo when he starts dating.. he’s already pretty smooth, wears a suit very well, and shows style of the clean cut but ‘cool’ sort (The button up shirts, unbuttoned over a tishirt)

I think a GB baby griffon would be incredibly cute. I just love their fluffy furry wittle “pants”.
I’m most excited about the idea of GB dragons, but I do agree, GB griffons would be cool too! or on another thread someone mentioned a GB baby Kirin (I tend to forget about Kirins) would be cute, if they have horns available..
I also kinda like the idea of surprise with the new dragon sculpt (Partially so Melody can have the peace to finish it how *she* wants to, without any opinions trying to sway her in any direction other than the one she had in mind)

The problem is that it would be very difficult to paint a grab bag edition using one of our existing dragon sculptures, because I can’t paint them in any of the colors that are retired on that piece, or anything that we’ve already done.
That doesn’t leave enough color options.
So, I am sculpting a new dragon to use for grab bag editions. He’s about the size of the small pyo dragon.You are made of awesome, Melody! 🙂
