Seeing how people fuss over the fantasy GB uni’s, I had a good hunch making some adult uni’s to go with them would be a great idea! I just never foresaw one being $2k worth! 😉 That is quite the accomplishment, that a uni went for what an ebay SK tends to go for (Unless I am mistaken at how high those go for? I don’t have a desire to have such a large fragile piece around, so I don’t watch them at all, lol) at the least a pair of production SK’s!

When I get stuck on a painting, I have found the best cure for my muses is to let them go play with something else, usually something absolutely unimportant… sometimes it’s as simple as being stuck on a commission, and working on a different piece.. or sometimes it’s working on something entirely different all together –This is where digital painting, Windstone painting, trying my hand at regular acrylic painting (That did not end so well, lol!), water color & colored pencil drawings, photography, leather work, jewelry work, (currently trying my hand at screen printing design) and lord knows what else I fuss with… is a good thing! when I get stuck on one, I move on to another that just simply sounds fun… I got stuck as could be on this Winged Wolf I just finished, I put her down for a few months (I admit, longer than I would have liked, but other circumstances prevented me from working on her).. I’ve done a lot of misc things inbetween, picked her up a few days ago and finished her in what felt like a blink of an eye, my mind absolutely reset 🙂 What also helped is I let go of where I was originally wanting to take her.. and I just let it flow… She’s mostly what I was looking for, just a lil more subdued… and I love her! 🙂 our minds are at a constant growth and change, an easy statement to it – We change our minds, often!… and sometimes we get the most stuck when we are determined to stay on the path we originally were on instead of letting the outcome grow with us…
So, I recommend these for ideas:
*Try something different all together to get the muse juices flowing! (Well that could certainly sound bad! lol)
*Write a short story that doesn’t matter at all
*Read what you have, and play with the story a bit.. keep the original, in case you decide you want to come back to it, but maybe make another and tweak here and there and be open to end up building on a different story than you originally meant? I’m not sure how big of a monkey wrench this can be in writing, I know sometimes I kick myself for venturing on a painting because end result is so much different and I end up painting over what I already put perfectly good work into… but I have yet to regret the decision to do so…Hope this helps! Somehow 🙂
Man, USPS really dropped the ball gettin these out of Corvallis and into Portland, it literally took a lil over 24 hours to get from one to the other on my package, and I’m assuming most of these had the same problem.. All of these should have arrived today but because it took a full day to get from one city to the other, there was no hope they’d be making it to other states in time… Will be interesting to see how Loveland does getting it to the door… I know this city gets a LOT more postal traffic because of V-Day (It is Love-land after all, lol!) I know there is a way to have V-day cards/gifts to detour through this town to get it’s postal stamp… or at least used to be… so it’s going to be interesting to see how local packages do, maybe this is the one time I should have shipped to my families house! lol XD (40 miles away)

I’m in the same boat as you guys! My tracking says it left Portland last night at 10:30pm and that it’s scheduled to be here today. I don’t believe it. I bet sometime this afternoon they’ll switch my “on time: Wednesday” to “on time: Thursday” |(
That is when mine left Portland too, w no other update thus far (mine won’t say anything more until it shows up in Denver)
*Sigh* I know the feeling of seeing that sly day change! Makes you want to point out that it isn’t “on time” if they change the day! HehI was realllly hoping mine would show up today, I just hate having Windstones chillin out in the mail, lol… but mine are moving slower than normal.. usually it only takes 2 days to get here, mine look like they’re gonna take at least 3… took them a full day to get from Corvallis to Portland (after the post office scanned them in)

And ah! I was hoping to start seeing Ivory wolves too, I’ve been debating on getting oneI can do the bat eared foxes as well if there’s enough of pictures! Again, the webpages look sad when there are only a couple pictures on them, which is why I never completed the Colt directory – I didn’t have enough submissions! But yes, feel free to send me whatever you’ve got, and I’ll let you guys know if I end up making either of the Fox pages 🙂
What about doing a “Fox” mashup? and do all the misc foxes on the same page? I have a few of each type, lol

I have to update my collection photos! I was going to do it last weekend, but I figured I’d wait til the stuff I have coming arrives. Since the last post I’ve added three Gothics, two colts, a baby, a wolf, a fennec, a poad, and a baby unicorn. Oh. THAT’S Where all my money went 😉
There’s another GB Red fox in there ;p lol! I look forward to seeing them all 😀
